One of a number in my shop inventory, this is a fresh and clean example of one of William Russell Flint's fine color photolithographs issued for collectors over a period of decades. This example, published in 1961 in an edition of 750, is signed in pencil at lower right and bears the characteristic embossed blindstamp in lower left margin. The title is "The Shower". The print measures 17 3/4" by 22 1/2" inside the mat and 26 1/2" by 30 1/2" as framed...

This is an OIL ON BOARD with a Scene from the CHICAGO WORLDS FAIR ca. 1890. More accurately known as: The World's Columbian Exposition; the Chicago World's Fair of 1893. This Painting was being shown at a small Gallery and was originally believed to be a San Francisco scene. A collector insisted this to be a scene from the CHICAGO WORLDS FAIR. Unsigned oil portrait of a woman in her 30's or 40's, painted on a ceramic plate, roughly 10" to 11" diameter (squarish shape). The piece is likely by the noted Chinese-Californian artist George Chann (also known by his Chinese name Chen Yin-Pi) (1913-1995), judging from the distinctive technique. After the Salvador Dali 1959 painting "Virgen de Guadalupe", this is a circa 1982 pencil signed lithograph print measuring 28" by 16 3/4" inside the mat (36" by 25" as framed). The piece is pencil signed at lower right and numbered 132/300 at lower left. This particular print is widely considered a late, unauthorized edition so is offered strictly as manner of or after the great Dali's work, the signature not by Dali, who died in 1989 and was not signing in the years before his death...
