The work measures 19" by 13" inside the mat and 33" by 26" as framed. Surprisingly I do not see any information online on the artist; perhaps a more vigorous search will turn up something about him and his endeavors as a wildlife artist. This is a beautiful, elegant, understated winter landscape oil painting on panel, signed at lower right by noted Avon, Connecticut impressionist painter CONSTANT RAPHAEL FURRICK (1888-1966), measuring 11 1/2" by 15 1/2" (19" by 23" as framed). Strangely, considering the quality of the work, there seems to be little information available on the artist. He was I believe born in Poland. Furrick's work is scarce, with few auction records...

This etching with sandpaper ground was created and printed by American artist Harold Kerr Eby. The title: Little Franklin is named for a Ledge located off the coast of Friendship Maine. The image measrues 8 1/2X14 5/8 inches. Printed in an edition of 100 in 1937. Eby left a skim of unwiped ink on the plate to create tone in the water. A fine impression, nicely framed with archival materials.

A nicely painted miniature painting of a blue-eyed gentleman wearing a black tie, coat and black silk vest. The artist has chosen a nice blue background, complementing the sitter's eyes.
The condition of the painting the case are excellent. The spots on the painting are bits of dust, and the lighter color black along the inner edges of the coat are intentionally painted that way. The case size is 2 3/4" by 2 3/8".
