Marked Balle 925 S, the hook with Swedish import mark (three crowns in an oval and S). Diameter "1 ½ / 4.5 cm. Condition: fine.

This pretty, vintage, blue Madrid depression glass oval vegetable or serving bowl was made by Federal Glass from 1932 to 1938. This bowl measures 10 inches long X 6 7/8 inches across. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, however, there is a slight 1/2 inch minor indent at one spot on the inner rim of the bowl that was done in the making. Although the carving is rought one can distinguish the minimal face either of a local deityor or also possible of the Sun. Chinese antique carved flourite mineral of smiling Buddha on a wood base. This piece has beautiful green, purple and white striations . Age: Republic Period. Size: 6" length x 5.5" height x 4.75" depth.

Japanese Blue and White Soba Noodle Cup, Showa period, late 1800 to early 1900's, 2 3/4" high, 3" diameter-top rim, tapered top and transfered blue design of flying Phoenix Bird among scrolling vines and leaves, unglazed bottom. The condition is good, some sand spots while firing in the kiln.

A fine and large stoneware dish by Sakuma Totaro (1900~1979). Decorated with a flowering plum tree against an oatmeal coloured ground. The back is plain and glazed with a clear transparent ash glaze.

The original wood storage box (tomobako) lid is inscribed in ink "Mashiko decorative dish with plum in iron oxide", the signature of the potter with his red seal.

First son of Sakuma Fukujiro, a mingei potter in Mashiko, Totaro studied ceramics with his father...

This is an intaglio cut crystal Hawkes water goblet (partial Hawkes signature visible), ca. 1920, in the Gravic Fruit pattern, with luscious, acid-etched and frosted plums, apples, and pears suspended from beautifully incised branches; with a knopped stem and square incised foot. Feels weighty and wonderful to the touch. Hawkes’ intaglio glass was known as Gravic Glass. Condition: excellent. Measurement: 7 _ in. h.

A vintage hammered copper small pot, unmarked, likely circa first part of the 20th century, with interesting curved handle, and hand placed grommet. Measurements are 4" high not including handle, and about 5 1/4" across at widest. Not the famous Dirk van Erp of the San Francisco Bay area, but nevertheless and interesting piece. There is a dent along the bottom edge as shown.

Lovely green early enamel coaster signed by Tiffany Furnaces. All enamel is in original perfect condition. Diameter is 4 inches.
