A pair of Chinese famille verte enameled porcelain boxes formed as recumbent quails. Realistically modelled, the feathers under green, aubergine and yellow glazes, the interiors glazed turquoise. The underside of the boxes molded with a pair of tucked-in legs, left unglazed. Resting on carved fitted wooden stands.

Japanese early 20th century earthenware vase by SUIGETSU. The vase has 2 crabs done in high relief on the side. This type of ceramics was originated by artist Yoshikawa Tsunekata during the Meiji Period. The vase comes with TOMOBAKO, or original artist signed wooden storage box. DESCRIPTION: An antique hand-painted ceremonial drum with vivid motifs of large flowers with curling green tendrils against a red ground. Both ends of the drum are covered in animal hide and secured with round-headed metal studs. This highly decorative drum makes a perfect little end table, or adds a touch of exotic to any décor. Very good condition with minor rubbing in spots. DIMENSIONS: 16 5/8” high (42.2 cm) x 15 5/8” diameter (39.6 cm).

Chinese Porcelain Sang de boeuf, Iron Red puppy dog with Celadon glaze, Ca. 1930's, 3 1/4" high, 4" wide x 1 3/4" deep, with curled tail and bell in front of the neck. Underglaze Ox blood and celadon glaze and bottom is unglazed. The condition is good, no damages.

Chinese antique large porcelain circular box with cover decorated in polychrome floral decoration. The base and cover are decorated with peonies flowers on branches in both white and famille rose. There is a six character blue Qianlong seal mark on the base.
