Japanese bronze vase of a pear form, with a narrow, ridged rim, and applied green pigment to enhance the patina. Its front bears a large incised peony with leaves and a small flower bud at its sides. Included is a wooden storage box.

This hand carved wooden comb belonged to a Miao Chinese minority women with limited means.
Comb would have been worn horizontally between the top of the woman's head and under the twisted bun of her hair. Comb is decorated with symbols which a burned into the wood. comb is 5 x 4 inches

The teapot is exceptional in both its design and workmanship (A tiny chip on the inner mouth-rim).

The green jadeite table screen depicts a traditionally dressed man standing amid bamboo and plum-trees, with two cranes dancing along. A Gilt Bronze Je Tsongkhapa Buddhist Statue. This exquisite seated statue of Je Tsongkhapa boasts of its outstanding craftsmanship. Je Tsongkhapa (1357-1419), Founder of the Ganden monastery in 1409, is portrayed with lifelike facial expression and graceful bearing. A rare "famille rose" dragon and phoenix decorated bowl with an inscription dedicating it as a 60th birthday gift from Ma Tao Yu to Xiong Gong - otherwise known as Chen Zhao Ying (1888-1977), who was a senior military leader of the Guo Min-dang (Kuomintang) between the years 1911 to 1932 and who was very close to Sun Zhong-shan and Jiǎng Jièshí (Chiang Kai-shek)...
Hand-carved Chinese natural chicken blood blank seal stone. Dimension: 75 x 20 x 20 (mm) or 2.95 x 0.79 x 0.79 inches with total weight 0.19 of lbs/85 grams. Bloodstone is cinnabar strips of dickite, its color is still red cinnabar. Since its color is as red as blood, it is called bloodstone. The earliest discovered bloodstone is Zhejiang Chang ?? rock pheasant bloodstone. Later it was found in Inner Mongolia Chifeng.
