Very fine old skirt from a Northern Chin ethnic group, Myanmar. The indigo dyed upper panel is woven with very soft handspun local cotton while lower embroidered panel is all silk. Set of three Chinese Qingbai celadon glaze bowls with incised design on the inside. The outside glazed the same, but left blank. The foot rims and bases as well as the top rims left unglazed.
Size: All bowls are approximately 6" diameter by 2-3/8" high
Condition: Two of the bowls are in good condition with the exception of some minor kiln imperfections due to firing. The third bowl has a rim crack and also a chip. Refer to pictures.

Beautiful coloring and very detailed. Extremely fine brushstrokes are used to create the squirrels' fur. Signed and stamped by artist Huang Chu Xiang.

It is 12 inches (30.5 cm) tall measured with stand and 10.6 inches (27 cm) tall by 4.3 inches (11 cm) wide measured without stand. It is 1792 gram without stand (4.2 Lb) with stand.
The agate has inclusions, flea bite chips and surface wears and scratches. The wood carved stand has surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

This beautiful contemporary Ningyo is by an important artist, Nishikitsuka Moeharu. His Kimikomi style of work has been exhibited in many galleries and museums, including the Homma Museum in Japan. She is holding peach sprays. Carved of wood with applied silks brocades. She has a sensitively rendered face with carved lacquered hair adorned with a gold hair ornament. 9 inches (23cm) high. Exquisite Hagi Tea Bowl by the Last Korean Princess, Yi Bangja (1901 - 1989).
