Hand made from quality leather and decorated with delicate thread embroidery at the toe tips and last border, the traditional pair of womans leather shoes would have been worn by a woman of some means...judging by their overall condition, these shoes have been worn a few times.

A vintage Sindhi rilhi here re-designed into a modern cushion cover. Measures 39 x 64 cm and is in excellent condition. White cotton cording along the edges, with button hole stitching as the main attraction. Mirrors ("shisha") are used extensively in the embroideries of South Asia to attract the sunlight and also to repel the evil spirits ("jinn"). Estimated age mid to late 20th century. This is a superb & beautifully handcrafted Chinese yixing teapot. The teapot has a nice & beautiful reddish clay patina with multiple inscriptions on one side & a nice carved wild bird & landscape on the other side...

This tea set was brought back by American missionary who was in China 1920-1948...She was repatriated to the US immediately after WW2 and returned by way of Japan. Considering condition of Japan when she was there, set was probably made sometime before WW2. The 4 piece set was probably used to accompany hina doll display The Habachi has separate lid, food bowl, cup/saucer, netsume has removable top, each piece hand turned wood...

Japanese black lacquered paper mache box for storing tea. Holding a teapot, the figure's face and hands appear to be bone or ivory. Measures 5.5" x 2.75".

Very rare tomesode with blue birds. A light to medium weight crepe silk decorated with yuzen dyeing techique and small touches of silk embroidery. On the front panels each bird’s head and throat is embroidered using satin stitch method. Some of the leaves are accented with fine gold threads at their edges and a small grouping of flowers are decorated with very small French knots. The back is plain, except for three white mon (family crests). The painted design is repeated in the lining...

Rare semi antique supplementary warp silk embroidery on handspun indigo cotton, blanket from the diverse Tai ethnic group Vietnam/Laos. I collected this in Chiang Mai around 12 years ago and would date it around 40 to 80 years old. Nowadays you just can’t find this sort of textile anymore. Some embroidery losses and a hole along the edge (noted in enlargements) but overall in very good condition. Dimensions: 84cm/33in x 145cm/57in.

Fine and rare old Yao/Mien all hand spun and woven cotton wedding veil with silk thread embroidered geometrical design, circa 50 years old. This piece is from Kim Mien group and was originally collected in Northern Laos. The colors on this piece are subtle and restrained (please note the use of shades of brown and blue in enlargements) and the brown and white tassels. 1930's Japanese Repousse Silver (tested silver with acid silver test kit) Chocolate Pot with Iris Marked "Kurokawa Sei Jungin" 純銀 - AS IS

It is 9.8 inches (25 cm) tall by 7.8 inches (20 cm) wide. It is 952.5 gram.

The pot has been repaired (resoldered) at the handle and flowers at the lid. It is also tarnished and has dents at the spout, cut marks at the lip, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Antique far eastern Asian Chinese hard stone late 19th century to early 20th century Chinese green jade jadeite saddle ring that was carved from one piece of this coveted lucky hard stone. This Chinese far Eastern export carved green gemstone saddle ring is in excellent wearable condition.

Although not seen here, the top takes a high glossy polish. There are no new crisp edges to be found in this ring.

Gorgeous vintage pottery replica of a sui dynasty tomb horse. Horse has a commanding and powerful presence as if going off to battle in a fiery. Standing on a rectangular base, with three legs planted, and one slightly lifted, giving motion and life to the piece. The face and body are both fierce and expressive yet modeling a poised and elegant arched neck. The overall look of the horse is extremely pleasing to the eye and decorative.

Japanese Dragon decorated Lacquer and crushed Egg shell inlaid Document Box, 2 7/8" high, 11 3/4" wide 4" deep, with copper color metal hinges, lock box with key hole in front. Some lacquer losses are all around, eggshell decorated dragon is looking upward towards Mt. Fuji. The condition is fair, shows some lacquer losses.

This traditional saki (sake)container was probably brought over by a veteran from WWll. The sisal wrap covering protects the stoneware "keg".
