This hand made gold plated cloisonn¨¦ and turquoise bracelet is 7 inches long and half of an inch wide. There are eight turquoise pieces surrounded by a butterfly design. The workmanship is wonderful. Aside from missing one small wire piece on the side, it is in great shape. It is an early 20th century product and is from the collection of a retired Hong Kong jeweler. The back has a woven pattern.

A large size Phagli mask , figuring the typical deity of Himachal Praddesh, likely a demon with sharp ears and frightful open mouth, one interesting point are the lines marked with red mineral pigment. Jade bangle bracelet with apple green highlights, from China with storage box, 20th century Size: Diameter 3.5" outer, 2.25" inner, .5" thickness

The natural ash glaze gradates from a light-glossy grey on one side to a blueish grey on the other. The foot of the bowl is unglazed at the base and shows traces of ferrous-rich clay in the form of an orangish hue. The mouth of the piece is somewhat oblong giving it an attractive shape and the rough texture and ash deposits in places give this bowl a weighty presence...

A finely carved Chinese agate in the form of a popular motif often seen in Tibet which is the windhorse. The use of Tibetan motifs in Chinese arts began during the Ming dynasty with patronage of the Tibetan high lamas and continued onwards into the Qing Dynasty. The windhorse is carrying a pecha or sutra text, a signature motif often found on windhorses. The stylized ribbons and the waves are done in the Chinese style. Antique Chinese fine famille rose porcelain vase with landscape of mountains and lake. The vase is an elegant shape with defined calligraphy. This style of decoration was popular in the 1930s. The base bears the studio name: Yitao Zhai, similar in style to the Society of Eight Friends. Produced by Zhang Zhitang (1893-1971). It measures 14" tall x 6.5" wide.

A refined and elegant work of Hagi-ware done by a master potter who is not only a direct descent of the Hagi forebears, but who also credited with having revive the tradition when it fell out of practice. This piece features a well-formed kodai (foot), an exceptionally nice Hagi glaze and several “ishi-haze” or marks from small stones that partially explode in the kiln. Judging by the box and the signs of aging on the work itself, this appears to be an early work by this potter.
