This handmade kilim from Maimana shows the medallion design and double interlock designs typical of the kilims from this area, inhabited by Uzbeks, Ersari Turkomen, and other tribal groups. It measures 87 x 127 cm. In excellent condition. Late 20th century. It is made of 100% sheep's wool.

A very fine dark brown Yixing teapot with hand carved and applied branch and flower motif. It is signed both under the lid and on the base bottom. In perfect condition, No cracks, No hairlines No restorations, it measures 6" high, 5" pot diameter, and 8" across.

STICKER BOARD BY A JAPANESE BOY

A fragment of old massive industrial wooden board stenciled as 'Explosive' on the opposite side, randomly stuck many old school stickers of 'Ultraman' and 'Kamen Rider' (and their monster enemies) as the two biggest children's superhero in Japanese tokusatsu TV show in 1970s. A wonderful Chinese hat stand, painted in the Qianjiang Vase style, soft pastel enamels of colored hues of lavender and moss green for the clothing, done with the perfect flesh tone of peach to accentuate the facial details, makes this a must have. This carved gold hair (acicular) crystal snuff bottle is 2 ¾” high, 2 ½” wide and 1 5/8” thick. It presents the traditional Chinese three companions of winter: bamboo, pine tree and plum blossoms. The carver carved a bamboo stalk and used it as the body of the bottle. An old pine tree and a plum tree with blossoms are arranged around the bamboo stalk. The top is carved agate. This is a mid-20th century product. It is in great condition.

Wall vase of irregular cylindrical shape. Middle brown stoneware with irregular natural ash glaze dripping decoration. Metal eye at the back for hanging. Marked with 3 dots at bottom, which is the mark of the Karatsu potter Nakazato Toraemon XII Muan. Japan, around 1960s/1970s.
