This handmade kilim from Maimana shows the medallion design and double interlock designs typical of the kilims from this area, inhabited by Uzbeks, Ersari Turkomen, and other tribal groups. It measures 87 x 127 cm. In excellent condition. Late 20th century. It is made of 100% sheep's wool.

This carved gold hair (acicular) crystal snuff bottle is 2 ¾” high, 2 ½” wide and 1 5/8” thick. It presents the traditional Chinese three companions of winter: bamboo, pine tree and plum blossoms. The carver carved a bamboo stalk and used it as the body of the bottle. An old pine tree and a plum tree with blossoms are arranged around the bamboo stalk. The top is carved agate. This is a mid-20th century product. It is in great condition.
