It is a lovely rich amber with a wheel cut rose and leaves on either side of this elegant trophy vase. The trophy handles hug the waist, then flare to attach to the foot. A rare carved caramel and honey-colour cameo agate snuff bottle of compressed pear-form shape. The bottle is raised on an oblong foot ring and is carved on one side through an opaque caramel-colored area of the stone to the semi-translucent soft honey-colored body with a scholar watching a bat in flight. Matching original stopper.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Berlin, Germany by KPM, Konigliche Porzellan Manufactor in 1921. There is a date cipher impressed in the porcelain indicating this year. The saucer measures 5 inches and the cup is 2 inches high and 3 ¼ inches in diameter. The porcelain is delicate. It is hand painted with colorful bouquets of flowers in the Meissen style. It has gold trim and gilded accents.

Set of 4, Tiffany Studios gilt bronze Venetian pattern desk blotter corners. All marked: Tiffany Studios, New York, 1894. Outer edges measure 4.75 each and depth measure 2.5". Height is minimal.

Japanese bronze fu-dog and ball. The playful fu-dog stands with mouth open in a dynamic pose with back feet on the ground and front paws on the ball. The ball is made of open work bronze with a design of peonies and scrolling vines.

This tsumugi (raw, knobby silk, similar to tweed) purse was purchased at the well-known Kyoto antique textile shop Nakamura Chingiriya in 1972. It is unused and still has original box.
H.6"(15cm) x W.6.25"(16cm.) Snap closes on one side, with eyelet for a hand, shoulder, or waist strap on the other. Indigo dyed folk materials and an elegant purse design make it suitable for kimono or jeans.
