Dating from the mid 1960's, this is a stunning 3 strand faux pearl necklace with an elaborate gold tone pave and emerald & sapphire cabochon clasp.
The shortest strand--including the clasp--is 16" (41cm) long. The clasp is 1 1/4" (3.6cm) wide and the pearls are 10mm in diameter. The gilt metal clasp has pave rhinestones and deep blue and emerald green unfoiled cabochons. The pearl strands are hand knotted. The necklace is signed on the back of the clasp with the K.J.L...
This is a very nice erotic walking stick featuring a lady with her arms up fixing her hair. There is some great carving on this stick, be sure to check out the bow in her hair and the hair itself. With and ebony shaft and bone ferrule, this stick measures 35 1/2" x 1 1/4" x 1/2". The ferrule measures 1" and the collar 3/4". The handle itself measures 4 1/2" x 1 1/4" x 1/2". This stick is in very good condition.

An antique Japanese Ko Tansu known as a personal storage chest made of Kiri (Paulownia) wood. Traditional wiped lacquer finish and original bronze fittings complement this piece. It features a hinged door that houses a compartment with a removable shelf.
This style of chest would make a great bedside stand or an elegant side table in any room of the house.

The embroidery of Baluchistan is called "doch" and is unique in its intricate repetitive geometric patterns and colors. This woman's dress yoke from Baluchistan ("pashk kurta") features a repertoire of densely embroidered patterns in silk thread on a dark blue silk background. Extremely fine satin stitch combined with herringbone stitch in silk thread, some metallic, along with buttonhole stitching, depicting geometric motifs...
A carved and painted wood model of a totem pole of the Tlingit, indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest Coast of North America. Depecting a frog, a whale, a bear and a beaver, the back is inscribed in ink and the base is dated New York, U.S.A. June 1931. Dimensions: c. total 40.1 cm high, diameter stand: c. 7.5 cm. Condition: beautiful patina, few tiny chips and minimal wear, the base with little losses to bark.
Japanese woodblock print of a tall pagoda standing in a moonlit scene, with several ladies walking the streets under parasols, and small shops lit by lanterns along the side. Signed "Tangyu Asada" (1899-1984) with chop and calligraphy. Tangyu's birth name was Benji Asada, born in Kyoto, he was active in Sosaku Hanga artist circles in the area.

A spiraling form in softly gleaming golden brown by Yajima Boshu enclosed in the original singed wooden box titled simply Jundo Kabin (Pure Bronze Vase). It is 8.5 cm (3-1/4 inches) diameter, 27.5 cm (11 inches) tall and in excellent condition signed on the base with a silver cartouche.
Yajima Boshu (1925-2001) was born in Takaoka, one of the most important bronze producing regions in Japan...
