1930's Japanese Goldstone Cloisonne Vase with Phoenix & Dragon

It is 4.7 inches (12 cm) tall by 4.5 inches (11.5 cm) wide. It is 0.8 Lb.

Shamanic phurbu whose top part shows a rider with hands joined in the ritual gesture of Namaste. The mount is not a horse but could be the ashoka lion. age circa 50 years. Height 29cm.

This ivory snuff bottle is a mid - 20th century product. It is 2 5/8” high, 1 ¾” wide and 1” thick. One side is a relief carving of Shou Xing (God of Longevity) and his young apprentice. The other side is an etching of bird, flowers and trees. It is in great condition.

This charming stylized Murano glass poodle is made with uranium glass and complimented with a generous distribution of gold aventurine. My colleague in Murano, the maestro Franco Schiavon, looked at the photos of this puppy and said "bello, Seguso or Barbini"! The poodle is in excellent condition, 7.5"h x 2.5"w x 3"d. unmarked

Wonderful birds, stars, and flowers patterned coverlet of wool and cotton hand woven in two sections and signed "MADE BY D.SNYDER HANOVER TOWNSCHIP NOR T.CO 1840" and is signed on the four corners with fringed edges. The coverlet has birds on three side and flowers on one side. The colors are red, blue, and mustard on an off white background. Coverlet measures 94" long by 72" wide and is in excellent condition......$20 for insured USA shipping.

A Japanese gilt copper hanging lantern decorated with engraved motifs of scrolling clouds, waves, and vines. The bottom contains a six petaled flower like design. Pair Korean Scholar's Book Chests, four(4) claws Korean Dragon and Phoenix Bird are battling in the flame, inlaid with Mother of Pearl, twisted Brass and faux tortoise shell, 41" high, 27" wide, 12 1/2" deep each in the background of dark brown lacquer with gold powder sparkling finish. Inlaid design of the wings of Phoenix Bird and Dragon are spread out into both sides, and the back is plain dark brown lacquer finish. Whole Book Chest supported by scrolling feet, shows continuous inlaid work...

Asa (hemp) noragi (work wear) with fine kasuri pattern which is katazome (stecil-resist-dye) and vegetable indigo dye. Both weft and warp are hand-plied. This kind of thick hemp textiles are found in Tohoku district. Generally in good condition but has some mending patches and stitches and wear in shoulder lines. Late 19th to early 20th century.
