Ca 1892 An ornately stamped gilt metal blue chalcedony (dyed agate) bracelet in original condition with detailed crimped frames and expandable panels all accented by flowerheads and small opals. The stones' facets and tables show light wear; one stone has a small chip on a table facet, another has a small section missing adjacent the setting (please refer to pictures). Hidden box clasp and safety chain. There is some darkening to the metal. A lovely piece sold as is. 7 -1/4".

Pretty late Victorian pink and white shell cameo set in a 10K yellow gold frame with floral engraving. The back of the setting has both the original pinstem and the original folding bale, so that the piece can be worn as either a brooch or pendant.

Elegant sterling silver large berry spoon in Whiting's wonderful 1896 "Dresden" pattern. The handle is completely covered on both sides with a complex floral pattern against a lightly stippled background. The bowl has scalloped edges and an elegant repousse pattern. The original gilding on the bowl has faded to a faint lemony hue. The back is marked with Whiting's hallmark and "Pat. Apr. 28th 1896", indicating that this is an older piece.

Elegant Victoria sterling silver pin cushion by Gorham. The silver surface is encrusted with repousse decoration of chrysanthemums and forget-me-nots. A rococo reserve is engraved with a period 3-letter monogram. This style of decoration is rather unusual for Gorham. The bottom is fully hallmarked, including the date mark for 1901. The pincushion also retains its original red velvet covering, a rare survivor.

Very handsome and heavy sterling silver master salt dish in the Georgian style. The flattened spherical body has a modified egg and dart border and is raised on acanthus leaf legs terminating in animal paw feet. Goodnow & Jenks was Boston's finest silversmith, albeit only for a short period, 1893-1905. The bottom is marked with the maker's mark, as well as a partially obscured retailer's mark.

REPLY: Available and quite sharp. Vintage ornate granulated chased applied rope silver metal work dagger, sheath and chain scarf hair pin tie clip. The blade edges were made wavy.
Simply stamped: 5 and 900 (90% compared to 92.5% for sterling) presumably for the silver content as it tests at least that. Just under 2 1/2". Super condition with decades of rich patina.

This is a very fine pair of sterling silver asparagus tongs in the Buttercup pattern made by Gorham in the Victorian style, reticulated with chasing on the handles, marked "Gorham Sterling", measures 9 in long; excellent condition.

A Sterling Silver Teapot and Coffee pot by gorham. There is a Date Mark for 1923 on both the Teapot and Coffeepot. The Teapot (Number A2412 and 1 3/8 pints) measures 6" high x 10.5" wide and weighs 14.6 Troy ounces. The coffeepot (Number A2411 and 1 3/4 pints) measures 8" high and 10" wide and weighs 17.3 Troy ounces. There is a monogram on each. In excellent condition.

This is the lovely Caroline from Lenox, great fashions of history collection. She portrays the fashion for the victorian era 1837-1901.Measures almost 6" tall. She is hand painted, very delicate,and precisely detailed as only you would expect from a Lenox collectible. I have others from this series that are equally as stunning. See my catalog. Very unusual American victorian check of walnut and burl. It has two small drawers on top and four large drawers on the bottom. The design is one of flowers, and is framed with a burl border. Circa 1880, very different.

Both the bed and dresser have urn finials, and the whole set is in immaculate original condition. The graining of the burl on this set, especially on the bed, is exceptional. All three pieces are a matched set and were always together.
