This very stylish shell cameo set in a 14Kt white gold filigree frame, dates back to the 1920-s. The 33 X 45 millimeter oval cameo depicts a bust of a lady with a diamond and emerald earring. The broach is extremely versatile since a fold down swivel type bail makes it wearable as a pendant as well.

This latest painting depicting a tree on the grounds of Phillips Academy in Andover Ma can be viewed at the Andover Historical Society "Places" juried art show from 09/09/17 through 12/22/97 and is signed by this self learned painter as Mimi Dee at lower left. It is housed in a hand painted frame by same.

A fine 11" x 8" Satsuma model of an official seated in a wood grained horse shoe style chair, clothed in finely painted robes and trousers and holding a feather fan. Excellent detail and fine crackle finish. Ex-Sotheby's New York.

Condition: Good. There is an old chip to the nose, a broken fingertip on the hand holding the fan, and an old repair to the back and one side of the base.

The latest original regional marsh landscape painting by this painter. These bottles are decorated in underglaze cobalt blue and colored enamels with a design of various painted fans floating on an iron red enamel ground that is covered with gilt spirals. The interiors and mouthrims are clear glazed. The bases are glazed clear and the footrings are unglazed, exposing the fine white porcelain paste.
