Interesting lot of two bronzeage weapons from the Dong Son Culture, Han Chinese designs of weaponery, c. 300-100 BC.

A very nice consisting of a fine spearpoint with raised shoulds, socket and midrib, and a socketed battleaxe.

Sizes: 9,8 cm for the axe and 12,5 cm. for the spear.

The Dong Son Culture evolved semi-autonomous from the Han Empire in China until the powerful Han-dynasti Nanyue expanded south around 110 BC. and incoporated the region into the realm. ...

A nice pair of very scarce bronze bells with great patina and raised design, Chinese probably Warring States, BC.475-221 or earlier

Both are made for hanging and are decorated with geometrical patterns.

Size: c. 70 mm each.

Condition: Nice patinas, both with losses. One still has the gong.

Ex. Hafnia Coins stock, bought in Denmark in the late 1990s.

A rare 3 Tical Brahmani duck or Old Mon Duck of the early style, Burma, c. 1480-1520 AD.

The bird finely incised on the wings and stands on a round base.

Weight: c. 39,17 grams = probably 3 Tical, which fits scale at the period of around 13 grams/unit. A very rare weigth!

Condition: Near Very fine, wear but a lovely brown and red patina, attractive!

A large and quite scarce high tinned bronze opium weight of the 20 Tical, square base, c. 1750-1780.

Interesting since this weight does not have the usual lines for the issue but instead a fine engraving with dots. Very attractive.

Condition: Choice Very fine, very nice grey silverish surfaces.

An ancient tomb sculpture of a turtle, probably a weight from a burial shroud, Chinese, Warrings states to Han Dynasty, c. 300 BC-100 BC.

Very rare and exceptional larger sculpture, made in fine crystalized white marble, imported from the Silk Road trade since marble was not found inside China. The sculpture depicts a turtle with a large snake on it's shell and standing on a square base.

Size: 18 cm. long and 11 cm. wide and around 8-9 cm. tall. The turtle weighs c. 2,1-2,2...

Attractive old collection Chinese bronze alloy mirror, Western Han dynasty, 206 BC - 24 AD.

Very sharp with readable letters all around the central star and knob.

Size: c. 79 mm. heavy.

Condition: Good Very fine, lovely patina and remnants of silvering on the mirror side.

Provenance: Estate of the Danish Artist Rolf Gjedsted, bought in the 1980s. antiquities market in Copenhagen.

A fine antique silver mounted snuff bottle carved in smoky agate in a large and impressive size, Qing Dynasty.

The bottle carved with floral decoration and with a thick silver mounting also finely chiselled with floral motifs. The corresponding spoon in coral-coloured glass. High purity silver with silver marks.

Size: 10 cm. tall and c. 5,9 cm. wide. Thick and heavy weighing 266 grams!

Condition: Good Very fine, intact with nice patina and smooth wear.

Attractive old collection Chinese silver plated bronze mirror, Eastern Han dynasty, 25 AD - 220 AD.

Very sharp, high relief mirror with Chinese scriptsigns in a concenthric band, large central knob. A large and impressive mirror for the early type.

Size: c. 13,7 cm. in diameter.

Condition: Extremely fine, much preserved silver on the surface. Fine patina of Cuprite colours, especially on the reflective side.

A very rare large bronze figure of the White Tara, Yuan-Early Ming Dynasty 13th.-14th. century AD.

A chinese bronze figure of the White Tara seated in Dhyanasana on a double Lotus Throne, the right hand in Vanada Mudra, the left raised holding the stem of the Lotus flower. She wears a lavish openwork crown and chest ornament. With costum made stand in noble wood.

Height 24 cm and weight 1852 grams.

Condition: Fine metal with remnants of gilt in the devices, mah...

A large dish with a central bird and floral design in blue and white, China, Ming Dynasty, 16th. century.

Size: 26,2 cm. in diameter and c. 5 cm. tall.

Condition: Nice Very fine, intact with fine intact rim. Some internal crackles and typical sandy base ring from the making.

A wonderful early Indian bronze or brass Alter of Vishnu with consorts, Himachal Pradesh, c. 12th century AD.

Condition: Finely patinated and with wear to high points like especially faces as is typical and a result of the long time worship.

Fine simplistic style of carving depicting a bird, probably a Crane with head tucked to the back.

The animal is carved in an exceptional glossy celadon stone with brown inclusions on the wings at the front side.

A very attractive stele intact and in high relief, capturing the moment when the Hindu god, Vishnu reveals himself in the guise of his ferocious half-lion, half-man form, known as Narasimha, to vanquish the asura king, Hiranyakashipu. Central India, c. 10th.-12th. century AD.

A finely patinated bronze figure of the Buddha with faint traces of gilding, China, dating to the Ming 1368–1644, | 明 銅佛坐像, comes with COA from old danish estate collection.
