An Arts and Crafts sterling silver brooch with leaves or vines by the Chicago silver firm, Kalo.

Measures approximately 2 1/8" across and 1 1/2" high. Marked Hand Wrought Sterling Kalo. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely.

Fine condition, warm patina.

A vintage three dimensional pendant in sterling silver designed by Jose Luis Flores of Taxco, Mexico depicting a stylized figure kissing a nude breast. Flores also worked with Hector Aguilar, Miguel Garcia Martinez and Emma.

Measures 4 3/4" long including the large bale and 2 1/2" across. Marked on the back 925, Mexico JLF, and Taxco. Have also seen this with the additional Miguel hallmark in script. Heavy and substantial. Has some tarnish. Pre Eagle.

Wild Picasso-esque design.

A rare necklace and matching earrings made of alternating Sterling Silver and Rosewood tubes by William Spratling from Taxco. The marks on this set date them to his Third Design Period: 1951 - 1967.

Necklace measures 17 1/4" long. Marked on the back of the box clasp with the script WS and Eagle #30. Earrings measure 1" long. Marked on the back of one earring with the Script WS and with the Eagle #30 on the back of the other.

The clasp on the necklace snaps securely...

A stand out modernist sterling silver cuff bracelet from Finland designed by Pekka Piekainen for Auran Kultaseppa, Oy. Twist design. Thick sterling.

Marked on the inside for Kultaseppa, Finland silver standard, 925, Town mark for Turku, and X7 for 1978. Also marked with the stylized PP designer's mark and Finland. Measures 5 3/4" around with an opening of 1 1/2". Measures 3/4" wide. In very nice condition with minor surface scratches...

A vintage modernist sterling silver ring by David Andersen, Norway. Three balls in an overlapping style.

Measures about a size 6.5 and can be slightly adjusted. Shank measures 1/2" at the widest. Signed D-A, Norway, Sterling, 925S, and scales mark.

In very nice condition, has just a little tarnish and some minor nicks and scratches. Circa 1970s. Wonderful MCM design.

A pair of vintage modernist sterling silver brooches designed by Gudmund Elvestad for J. Tostrup of Norway. May be purchased individually or as a pair.

The first one is a stylish anthropomorphic design with burnished and textured finish.

Measures 2 1/8" across and 1 1/2" high.

The second brooch appears to be a styled human figure with long bent arms...

An unusual pair of sterling silver modernist earrings by Salvador Teran. Marked Salvador, Sterling, Mexico, Eagle mark and 159 for the style number. Measure 1" long and 7/8" wide. Screw backs function properly. Depict some kind of highly stylized Dancing creature or person. Fine condition. Nice contrast between the polished silver and darkened background. Great modernist design!

A modernist sterling silver pendant with a bezel set tan tumbled agate by Jens Peter Clausen Gudjonsson of Iceland. Signed JENS and 925S.

Pendant measures about 2" long and 1 1/4" across at the widest.

Currently strung on a black cord but would also work on a neck ring or thick chain. Interesting contrast of smooth and textured surfaces.

Fine example of Icelandic modernist design.

A rare modernist sterling silver bracelet by the noted jewelry teacher and designer, Adda Husted-Andersen. Husted-Andersen taught in NYC at the Craft Student's League and her work was exhibited as part of the 1946 landmark exhibition, "Modern Jewelry Design" at the Museum of Modern Art. This bracelet is made from flattened and curved pieces of sterling silver intertwined with three brownish green oval cabochons. Measures about 6" around with an opening of about 1"...

A pair of modernist sterling silver clip earrings, #116 B designed in 1955 by Edvard Kindt-Larsen for Georg Jensen, Denmark. The B indicates that these are the larger examples.

Measure 1/2" across and 7/8" high. Marked Georg Jensen in a dotted oval, 925S Denmark and style 116 B. There is another very tiny hallmark on the end of each of the clips but we can't make them out. May be a U.K. import mark.

No need to have pierced ears, these are clips which hold securely...

A pair of vintage modernist sterling silver earrings by the well known Mid Century NYC jeweler, Henry Steig. Geometric sterling layered design. They are opposites so will frame the face when worn.

Warm patina. Screw backs hold securely. Measure about 7/8" long and 3/4" across. Marked Steig Sterling on the backs and Sterling on the screw parts. Well made.

Fine MCM design.

A wonderful brooch by William Spratling depicting a large moth. Measures 2 5/8" across and 1 7/8" high. Marked with the conjoined WS surrounded by Spratling Made in Mexico. Also marked Spratling Silver. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Heavy silver. Has some minor tarnish and surface scratches. Wonderful item.

A vintage sterling silver hammered money clip made by the Gaylord Silvercraft in Wallingford, CT. The Gaylord Farm Sanitarium was active from 1923-1944 and was organized by William Waldo Dodge.

Measures about 2 3/8" long and 1" wide. Marked Sterling, Hand Wrought and with an impressed upright hammer flanked by two wings for the maker. It currently has a 'G' monogram, but could probably be buffed out.

Fine work, quality piece.

A very well constructed pair of sterling silver and pearl cufflinks by Jean Lasnier. He was a member of the Metal Arts Guild between 1951-64 with many of the well known studio artisans of the Mid Century Modern jewelry movement. Cufflinks are made from two layers of curved sterling connected at the corners. They have an offset pearl attached to the under layer for a 3D effect. Measure 3/4" square. Toggles swivel. Marked Sterling and Lasnier on the backs. Toggles are also marked Sterling...

A wonderfully crafted sterling silver cuff bracelet by noted Arts and Crafts metalsmith, Walter Jennings. Has a lightly hammered central floral design with a recurring Arts and Crafts detail on the edges.

Marked with the conjoined WJ and Sterling on the inside. The WJ is only partially struck.

Measures about 5 1/2" around with an opening of 1 1/4". Measures 7/8" at the widest, tapering slightly at the ends...

A vintage heavy sterling silver hand made brooch with a prong set striated art glass 'jewel'. Measures 2 3/8" across and 2 1/4" high. Marked Sterling on the back. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Well crafted, striking design.

A pair of sterling silver screw back earrings in a mid century modernist design. We have seen only one other pair in almost the exact design signed Ed Wiener. Constructed of a layer of oxidized sterling with a contrasting polished curved sterling wire overlay.

The earrings measure 1 1/4" high and 7/8" across and hold securely. They are marked with Sterling, hand wrought and a partial W in a triangle. The screw part is marked Sterling.

A rare, modernist pendant necklace in 830 silver designed by Jorma Laine for Kultateollisuus Ky of Turku Finland.

Has four dangling stylized apples. It measures 2 7/8" long and 1 7/8" at the widest. Original chain measures 23" long and has a secure spring clasp. Pendant is marked 830S for the Finnish silver standard, and Finland. Chain is marked 830S.
