Also marked Toño, Pietra Artistica, Hecho en Mexico, Eagle #3, Taxco Sterling, 925, and design number 489. Has a dark green round cabochon in the center and raised green stones in the eye and fins. A vintage sterling silver and pearl hand wrought choker necklace and matching bracelet by the California Modernist, Esther Lewittes. May be purchased individually or as a set.

Necklace measures 14 1/2" long but hard to measure exactly due to the curvature of the links. Probably closer to 15". An extender could be added to the back if necessary. Signed Lewittes Sterling. Has a hook closure that holds securely.

The matching bracelet measures 7" long and has a secure spring clasp...

A sterling silver modernist Star of David by the Israeli jeweler, Rachel Gera. Pendant measures 3 1/2" long including the large bale and 1 3/4" across. Chain measures 24" long and closes with a spring clasp. Pendant is marked Handmade, Gera Israel and 925. Thick sterling, fine quality.

Choice of two modernist cast sterling silver brooches; one in a stylized bird design and the other in a stylized scorpion design with a pearl by noted Mid Century silversmith Christian Schmidt, (1926-1974). They are both signed with his stylized 'S' hallmark and Sterling. May purchase individually or as a pair.

The 'bird' measures 2" long and 1" across. Has a three dimensional curved design. Interesting contrast of dark textured patina on the sides and polished surfaces on the top...

A very rare piece of hand wrought sterling silver modernist jewelry by the San Francisco Metalsmith, Harry Dixon.

This unusual massive cuff bracelet has a large spinach green and yellow striated raised agate. Very three dimensional.

Measures 5 1/2" around with an opening of 1 1/8". Does not have much flexibilty. Measures 2 7/8" wide at the front. Weighs 105 gr.

Marked with a stamped Harry Dixon and Sterling.

Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish...

A modernist sterling silver brooch with two raised sterling 'pearls' and a raised sterling bar by Sigi Pineda. Design number 54. Measures 2 1/2" long and 1 1/2" across. Marked on the back Sigi Tasco, Hecho en Mexico, Sterling, 54, and Eagle #3. Safety rollover clasp holds securely. In very nice condition. Has minor surface scratches. Interesting contrast of oxidized and shiny sterling. A very beautiful brooch by a talented artisan.

A modernist sterling silver pendant with a bezel set tan tumbled agate by Jens Peter Clausen Gudjonsson of Iceland. Signed JENS and 925S.

Pendant measures about 2" long and 1 1/4" across at the widest.

Currently strung on a black cord but would also work on a neck ring or thick chain. Interesting contrast of smooth and textured surfaces.

Measures about 2 1/2" long and 1 3/8" at the widest. Marked Hand Wrought, Sterling, A. Manca. Has a double prong clasp with a squeeze closure that holds securely. Was probably a fur clip originally .

Warm patina, fine condition.

A sterling silver hammered bangle bracelet by Guglielmo Cini. Probably from when the company was in Boston. Has an Arts and Crafts feel. Even the edges are hammered for a shimmering effect.

Measures 7 7/8" around the inside and 3/8" wide. Weighs 30 Gr, thick sterling.

Marked CINI Sterling in block letters.

In very nice condition with a warm patina, and some minor surface scratches and tarnish. Nice weight and well crafted.

A pair of modernist sterling silver clip earrings, #116 B designed in 1955 by Edvard Kindt-Larsen for Georg Jensen, Denmark. The B indicates that these are the larger examples.

Measure 1/2" across and 7/8" high. Marked Georg Jensen in a dotted oval, 925S Denmark and style 116 B. There is another very tiny hallmark on the end of each of the clips but we can't make them out. May be a U.K. import mark.

No need to have pierced ears, these are clips which hold securely...

A vintage modernist sterling silver Komsekule Magic Ball pendant by Frank and Regine Juhls of Norway. Three dimensional orb with 5 dangling rings. This is a traditional Sami design.

Measures about 1 3/8" long including the bale and 1 1/8" across.

A sterling silver hand wrought brooch by the mid century modernist studio jeweler, Ruth Berridge, (1921-2004).

Shaped like a fish with two layers of curved, overlapping sterling. Has a multidimensional effect. Measures about 2 3/4" across and 1 1/2" high. Signed Berridge, Handmade and Sterling on the back. Rollover clasp holds securely. Fine condition with minor surface scratches and a some tarnish.

Fine craftsmanship.

A vintage heavy brooch or pendant and matching screw back earrings designed by Fammik for Viggo Wollny whose workshop was in Copenhagen, Denmark and registered from 1921-73.

Stylized pitchers. Earrings are opposites so frame the face when worn.

Marked Fammik, Sterling, Denmark, and V.W. for the silversmith on the back of the brooch/pendant and VW Fammik, Danish Sterling on the back of the earrings.

Brooch/pendant measures 2 1/4" tall and almost 1 1/2" across...

A vintage hand wrought Sterling Silver reticulated floral brooch. Measures 2 3/4" across and 1 1/4" at the widest. Signed Handwrought, Sterling and with an impressed mark that looks like a flower pot. Has a rollover clasp that hold securely. The brooch is thick sterling and curved, not flat. In fine condition with very minor surface wear and a little tarnish. Classic Arts and Crafts period piece.

A modernist brooch by the noted NYC jeweler, Paul Lobel. Made of sterling silver with a wire overlay. Signed on the back, LOBEL, Sterling.

Measures 2 1/4" long and 1" across. Has a rollover closure that holds securely. Has some tarnish, and minor surface scratches . Could also be worn as a pendant with a chain through the large loop.

A vintage hand wrought sterling silver necklace with an Arts and Crafts feel by the well known Boston silversmith, Ella Cone, comprised of linked leaves and scrolls.

Measures 15 1/4" long, could be lengthened with an extender. Spring clasp holds securely. Marked Sterling, XTO, and Ella L. Cone on each leaf. Has a little tarnish and minor surface scratches.

Well made, fine quality. Lays nicely on the neck.

A rare sterling silver and caged raw purple stone brooch by noted jeweler, Arthur King. Probably amethyst. Marked on the back, Sterling King. Measures 2 1/8" across and 2 1/8" tall. There is a light gold wash on the silver. Has a rolling safety clasp that holds tightly. There is a small area on the edge of the stone that is a little rough, may be original. Classic Arthur King design.

A vintage modernist sterling silver pair of earrings by studio jeweler, Fridl Blumenthal. Signed with her Tulip mark, Sterling, style number 115 and FRIDL on each earring. The findings on the earrings are also marked sterling.

Opposites so frame the face when worn. Thick sterling silver with sterling overlay on niello. Earrings measure 7/8" long and 1/2" across. Screw backs work fine.
