Decorated under the glaze with stylized patterns and concentric circles in iron oxide. Skillfully wheel-thrown and rests on a slightly flaring foot. Well-formed lid is surmounted by a circular knop with a yellowish-brown iron glaze. The interior and foot are unglazed. There are minor areas of glaze degradation on the top of the lid from burial. Some minor wear, small old chips to the interior lip of the bowl. Some evidence of burial earth remaining...

A fine Antique Porcelain BENJARONG/BENCHARONG BOWL, specially made in China for the Siamese Court and Nobility. Late 18/19th Century. The inside is emerald green with flower decor and a center medallion, whereas the outside depicts 4 alternative Norasingh and Kinaree figures on a Famille Noire background. Size: 17.1 cm. diameter x 8.9 cm height (3 1/2" x 6 3/4". Good condition, with 1 firing hairline on top rim, hardly noticeable, except upon close inspection. Rare size and item!

In northern Vietnam the ceramic industry had been developing under Chinese influence and especially the art of blue & white glaze was excellent just comparable with YUAN DYNASTY pieces.They used the　cobalt glaze imported from Persian so coloring of blue is very beautiful. 「福」Chinese letter　means "happiness". A superb and genuine IRON BROWN-BLACK GLAZED SAWANGKALOKE-SRICHANALAI JARLET WITH LIP, 14-16th CENTURY. VERY GOOD CONDITION OVERALL. SIZE: height 5.5 cm x 5 cm diameter. Provenance: found in the Musi River, close to Palembang City, which was the Capital of the SRIVIJAYA KINGDOM and which had a vast trading network with China and Siam. The color of the glaze is exceptionally attractive!

A Thai Benjarong stemmed dish, redware, 18th century. Decoration in green, yellow, white and pink. The rim of barbed shape, stem and dish apparently joined together by a charred piece of clay. Height “2 ¼ /6 cm, diameter “6/15 cm. Condition: chips to rim and general rubbing to the decoration.

Earthenware offering plate depicting Buddha sitting in a niche, his hands in "bhumisparsa mudra". On his right is another Buddha also in a niche. Thailand, Khmer period known as Lopburi, 12-14th century. 84 mm high x 84 mm wide x 17 mm thick. The piece is nicely mounted on a custom stand. Abrasion due to age, otherwise good condition.

This late 18th century South East Asian brown and olive pottery water dropper was made to look like a water buffalo. It is 2 ¼ inches tall and 2 ½ inches wide. The dark olive green glaze covers the entire body but the bottom. It is in good condition except for a few small chips.

A Cambodian, brown glaze lime-pot in the form of an owl with molded beak, eyes and tail. Age:,circa. 12-13th Century, Bayon Period. Apart from chip on base, it is in overall good condition. High resolution images may be emailed on request.

This very well made South East Asian fish shape pot is 5 ¾” high, 7 ¼” long and 5 ¼” wide. It has pale green, brown, beige and black glaze covering the entire body. It is in excellent condition.

Karon kiln was located in northern Thai and produced mainly pieces pictured with iron glaze, and ended in a short term 15th century. This piece has star pattern and scrollwork with iron glaze. A Vietnamese Anamese Blue and White Ewer. Height approximately 8 cm. From the handle to the tip spout is approximately 11 cm. The ewer has some peeled glaze, mostly on the handle. In good condition.

A definitely lvely pot with an extraordinary rich floral decoration with birds. The glaze and the deep cobalt blue blue strongly reminds on Chinese Jingdezhen ware pieces of the Ming Dynasty. A rare Vietnamese ewer /water dropper decorated with blue and white two duck and duck head as the spout. Body of the ewer is in good condition with has degradations glaze.
