Stunning early Chinese mandarin Qianlong lidded enameled porcelain jar. Beautifully decorated in famille rose style with figural and landscape design in different panels, from late 18th/early 19th century period. Size; Height of this item is 11.6 inches, condition is consistent with age. Provenance: Private collector, Lisbon.
A huge white bronze / early brass mortar of the finest execution, likely apothecary, incl. pestle, Northern Europe, ca. 1690.

A nice early transition type of a later design that became popular in the 18th. century. Very elaborate and finely cast and with a nice colour.

Size: ca. 18 cm. from handle to handle, 17,3 cm. wide at the rim and 15 cm. tall. The Pestle is ca. 25,7 cm. long and the set weighs around 5 kilograms.

18th century Japanese iron sword kashira (metal pommel at the end of the hilt) with inlaid brass dragonfly. Crisp detailed work with fine veining on its wings, wonderful feel of age. Very clever and neat piece. Length 1.46 inches.

Solid gold, silver, shibuichi and sentoku inlaid shakudo tsuba. The setting presents us with a Japanese warrior slaying an enemy wearing foreign armor that seems to be Chinese or even Mongol.
