A modernist pendant by the noted NYC jeweler, Paul Lobel. This pendant is made of twisted sterling silver wire ending with a exaggerated prong set clear orb. The orb can spin around in the 'cage'. Signed on the back, LOBEL, Sterling. Has a wonderfully darkened patina. There is a small scratch on the ring that attaches to the bale.

The pendant measures 2" at the widest and 3 1/4" high including the bale.

Original Lobel chain measures 17" and has a hook closure that holds securely...

An intricate pair of sterling silver pierced earrings with four tightly wound coils by Helge Narsakka, Helsinki, Finland. He was active from 1957-1961.

Signed HN for the designer, National Mark, 925H for the silver purity, Town Mark, and Q7 for 1969. The marks are cleverly hidden in the coils and are hard to find.

Measure 1 7/8" long with the hook and 7/8" across the bottom. Weigh 12 gr together. Minor tarnish. These probably had screw backs originally and a previous owner converted them...

A vintage sterling silver hand wrought brooch with a Poppy theme by Stavre Gregor Panis, who was a member of the Boston Society of Arts and Crafts.

Measures 3" long and 1 3/4" at the widest. Weighs 14 Gr.

Marked with the SGP in a shield hallmark and Sterling.

Lightly hammered. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Has a warm patina with minor tarnish.

This is one of the finest Panis brooches we have seen.

A Mid Century Modern pendant in sterling silver by Kultaseppa Salovaara, Ky of Turku Finland with eight light blue faceted bezel set stones. The pendant has a curved bale which is part of the design for an interesting effect.

The pendant measures 2 1/8" high and 1 1/2" wide at the center. Currently suspended from a 17" sterling chain that has a secure spring clasp.

The pendant is marked with the polar bear mark for the maker and 925H...

A vintage heavy brooch or pendant and matching screw back earrings designed by Fammik for Viggo Wollny whose workshop was in Copenhagen, Denmark and registered from 1921-73.

Stylized pitchers. Earrings are opposites so frame the face when worn.

Marked Fammik, Sterling, Denmark, and V.W. for the silversmith on the back of the brooch/pendant and VW Fammik, Danish Sterling on the back of the earrings.

Brooch/pendant measures 2 1/4" tall and almost 1 1/2" across...

The brooch measures 1" in diameter. Closes with a secure rolling clasp. Has a warm patina. Marked Mary Gage Sterling on the back. In the lily pad design that she is known for.

A vintage sterling silver double bangle bracelet by Rey Urban for Å Fausing, Denmark. Two curved bangles that meet at opposite sides.

Measures 2 5/8" across the inside and 7/8" at the widest. Also measures about 8 1/4" around the inner circumference. Slips on my average sized wrist easily.

Marked with Å Fausing, 925, Sterling, Denmark, script Rey Urban signature and 7 for the design number.

Nice weight and quality. Fine condition with minor surface scratches...

A pair of hard to find William Spratling silver earrings with a ruffled silver band adorned with silver beads. These earrings are from the 1st design period. They are pictured on page 54 of Morrill and Beck's book, "Mexican Silver".

Measure 1 3/4" across and 2" high including the screw backs. Marked Spratling Silver on the back of each screw back. They are sterling silver or better. The screw backs hold securely. The earrings have some tarnish and minor scratches...

A sterling silver bracelet from Taxco with a modernist, geometric design. Made up of six hinged slightly curved links with a somewhat hidden clasp. Nice contrast between the raised polished sterling and the oxidized background...

A modernist sterling silver ring by noted mid century jeweler, Sam Kramer, with an erotic theme. Depicts two hands holding breasts.

Measures about a 5 1/2. Face of ring measures 7/8" long and 1/2" across. Marked with Sam Kramer's mushroom mark and sterling. Has some minor surface scratches, some wear to the surface and tarnish. Heavy sterling.

Great MCM design. Haven't seen this design before. Sam Kramer's designs are highly collectible and rare.

A wonderfully crafted sterling silver cuff bracelet by noted Arts and Crafts metalsmith, Walter Jennings. Has a lightly hammered central floral design with a recurring Arts and Crafts detail on the edges.

Marked with the conjoined WJ and Sterling on the inside. The WJ is only partially struck.

Measures about 5 1/2" around with an opening of 1 1/4". Measures 7/8" at the widest, tapering slightly at the ends.

In fine condition with minor tarnish and minor surface wear.

A vintage floral Arts and Crafts sterling silver bracelet by Peter Traphagen from Pasadena, California.

This hand wrought bracelet measures 7 1/2" long and 7/8" wide. Has a secure hook clasp.

Signed with a partial Traphagen on the back of each flower.

Fine condition, warm patina.

Classic design. Circa 1950s.

A pair of vintage sterling silver earrings by Hans Hansen, Denmark are available. They have a hammered streamlined design.

They measure 1 1/8" in diameter. They sit about 1/2" high. These earrings are each marked HaH, Denmark and 925S. The clips hold securely.

Have a warm patina. Lightly hammered. There are a few very small nicks to the edges but they are not really noticeable because they are on the sides. Weigh 20 gr.

Have not found another example of this design. Fine work.

An interesting Sterling Silver brooch by Miyé Matsukata who had Atelier Janiyé in Boston. This piece reminds us of a stylized 'eye'. Has a three dimensional effect.

Measures 1 1/2" long and 1" at the widest. Signed Janiyé and Sterling. Fine condition with minor surface scratches. The rollover clasp holds securely.

Marked with the MIC hallmark and the three crowns silver standard mark used by Anton Michelsen when in Stockholm, Sweden from 1946-63. Also marked with S for the town mark, A9 for 1951 and Engel. A vintage hammered sterling silver brooch with leaves by Joan Polsdorfer, who signed her work JoPoL, and was the first American designer to work for Georg Jensen, USA. She also sold her work directly to high end retail outlets. Brooch measures 1 7/8" across and 1 7/8" high. Marked on the back JoPoL, Sterling and design number 317. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Warm patina. Great Arts and Crafts design.

A vintage sterling silver necklace or collar by American Modernist jeweler, Ronald Hayes Pearson. Made up of three connected graduated neck rings with hammered texture. They are curved so lay nicely on the collar bone. Connected on each side by a small ring.

Measures about 12" around the inside of the smallest one with an opening of 1 1/2". Can be adjusted. Can be stretched open a little to put on.

Signed Pearson at one end and Sterling on the other.
