Rare and beautiful group of 120 Han Dynasty glass beads: 118 small beads, and 2 larger beads. A range of color from green to yellow and other that are calcified white with age. Some round and some foliate shape. A range of size from 5/16" to 3/4" wide. Strung together for a total of approx. 20" long strand. Han Dynasty (206 B.C. to 220 A.D.)

A banded agate stone seal, polished to a perfect oval scaraboid shape with a slightly pointed center, Neo-Babylonian, c. 8th-6th. century BC.
The stone with particularly nice patterns of multi-layered bands. On the base it's carved with a worshipping priest standing before the alter of the principal deity Marduk.

A lovely tall square stamp seal in a green stone carved with a star-ornamentet handle and a the base engraved with a wonderful scene of a two stags or caprides, one of the them eating a large branch with leaves. Attractive and unusual!

Condition: Good very fine, completely intact a rough patina and deposits.

Ensemble of very old beads, I found these in a small shop in Phrae, Northeast Thailand a few years ago. The green mottled beads are late Qing Dynasty Peking glass, the brown glass tapered tube bead emulating agate was probably made for the Funan or Chenla Kingdoms as I have agate beads from the same period which are pretty much identical, the white bead with orange splash is at least early Qing...

Bow adornment of a fibula in the shape of a bird. The body flat and round with a raised tiny head. Wings and feathers are rendered as incised lines. The wings crossed over the short tail.
The bone element is unpierced and was adhered to the fibula’s upper side. Metal components of the fibula missing.

Tang Changsha large bowl from Batu hitam shipwreck. Bowl in good condition with some glaze degradations , free from any restoration. Size: 19,5cm diameter.
Relics of the nile is pleased to present this Mayan bowl from Guatemala, ca. 500 - 800 AD. The bowl features solid color with an excellent, detailed design of chiefs that repeats around the circumference of the piece. The bowl remains in solid condition and the body remains intact with the exception of some chipping on the rim that has been slightly repaired in one place. The bowl measures 6" in diameter and has evidence of extensive usage, good root marks and mineral deposits.
