Attractive and rare type of glass vase, Roman 1st.-3rd cent. AD.

The flask in almost clear glass with beautiful thin irridescence!

Condition: Very fine and intact, some fragments reassembled nicely, but intact, nothing missing.

A Padang Highlands gilt brass kettle with false lid and a lidded box standing on three legs, both cast with the lost wax method showing floral and geometric motifs. Condition: both lids with few tiny casting holes, the box interior with some rust, both items with traces of usage. Dimension: kettle: c. 21.5 cm high, c. 15 cm long, box: c. 13.8 cm high, diameter: c. 13 cm, weight together: 1400 g.

A scholar's drum shaped porcelain water pot for calligraphy which doubles as a scroll or paper weight when not in use. The top is decorated with a depiction of the sun and there is a line of tiny raised dots around the top and bottom representing drum nail heads. In good antique condition with a few nicks around top inner edge and expected amount of wear to raised areas. Measures 3.25" diameter x 1.5". Circa 1700's

A lovely untouched and intact massive terracotta jar, Indus valley / Amri-Nal culture, c. 3rd. millenium BC.

A very high quality jar with painted bulls on either side of a fancy tree and a band of Ibexes at the top.

Condition: Extremely fine for type, intact with fully preserved glazed decoration.

An exceptionally large and attractive bronze bow fibula, Migration period, Ostrogothic / Merovingian, c. 6th.-7th. cent. AD

The fibula with semi-circular headplate with four profiled knobs, rhomboid footplate with an animal-head ending. Head and footplate decorated with carved bulls-eye ornaments.

Size: 16,3 cm. long - very large for these!

Antique Chinese Scroll made of ink and mineral colors on paper. Story illustrates Dung Fang Shuo, the daoist sage, and auspicious symbols carrying the peach of immortality, with the bat of longevity flying overhead. Two seals are displayed. First seal reading, "Li Guang Jin yin", second seal is the studio seal. Artist's name is Li, Guang Jin from the studio Fu Qing. A very large porcelain basin decorated with gold and red fish among green, gold and red flora by Miyagawa (Makuzu) Kozan enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Gosu-Aka-e Sakana no Zu Hira Bachi. Inside the box bears the Teishitsu Gigein seal, followed by an annotation denoting the artist age at 75 years old. After a long verse which also appears to be by the hand of Kozan it is dated 5th day, 5th month of Taisho 6 (1917). It is 38 cm (15 inches) diameter and in excellent condition...
