These miniature jarlets are very rare so-called “associated finds” when people in Indonesia do excavate pieces of the Song and the Yuan Dynasty. Such pieces are rare and exactly like the larger examples they are genuine pieces from the Song to Yuan Dynasties. Qingbai ware with a very pale blue glaze. H : From 1,8 cm. until 2,7 cm. Small funeral mirror, of circular shape, decorated in relief with four frolicking chimeras and grapes. At the back,traces of the imprint of a textile. Bronze, with fine age patina. Rice bag made of fragments of hand-spun cotton with stripes, checks and katazome (stencil-resist-dye), all vegetable indigo and brown dye. The cord is hemp. The square cloth in the bottom is fine and beautiful katazome with "two cranes facing" motif. Kome-bukuro was used when people dedicated rice to temples or shrines. In excellent condition except for a few holes and mending patches. The latter half of the 19th to early 20th century. W:57cm, H:28cm, Bottom:30cm x 28cm.

An interesting dish of barbed, lotus petal, form with a bulls eye base, janome, decorated in Nanga style, monochrome (sumi-e) landscape paintings in the Chinese Literati tradition of Southern China, a school particularly associated with the Nagasaki area and the work of the Kameyama kiln, where it is believed artists of this school provided designs for use on their wares. Pilgrim's sodenashi made of hand-spun cotton with writhings which are the name of the pilgrim, the year (Meiji 5, 1871) etc. The places of pilgrimage is Saigoku Sanju-Sansho (33 holy places in the west) which are for worship of Kannon and the oldest places of pilgrimage. Those are located in Kyoto, Osaka, Gifu, Hyogo, Nara, Shiga and Wakayama. The cloth in the back is also hand-spun cotton and vegetable indigo dye. In excellent condition. 45cm x 57cm

Perfect potted Qing Dynasty Yongzheng Period ( 1723 - 1735 ) bowl with a very nice enamel and gilded decoration. Diameter : 7,6 cm. H : 4,2 cm. Condition : The body cracked, the glaze and the enamels in a excellent condition.

Omi-e-kasuri (pictorial kasuri) with double kasuri pine and bamboo motif. It is handwoven of taima (hemp) and weft yarn with pine tree pattern is clamp-board dye so that the textile has white bar-code like lines in both selvedges. Both choma (ramie) and taima (hemp) textiles were woven from 12th century in Omi region in Shiga prefecture, but kasuri textiles were woven of taima (hemp). In excellent condition but the white lining has light stains and very light two spots in the upper back...
