Extremely well potted body, a wonderful very white silky glaze and exclusively painted in the for Chenghua tylical watery blue. The rim covered with solid gold with a solid golden lid. Diameter : 9 cm. H : 7,5 cm. without lid. ( With lid : 9,2 cm. ) Condition : All visible parts of the porcelain body are in a absolutely perfect condition.

A Chinese bronze two-handled censer in the manner of Hu Wenming, Ming dynasty, 16th/17th century. 15 cms wide. Provenance: Hugh Gordon Lowder (1888-1978) who worked at Chinese Maritime Customs, Shanghai, 1908-1914 and 1918-1940.
