19th century Chinese small carved boxwood architectural panel depicting a Chinese scholar with 3 attendants among pavilions and trees. Must have been part of an altar piece. Wonderful quality carving with piercing and deep undercutting, rich detailing (see several Fungus of Immortality), very pleasant wear and patina. Size 2 3/8 x 4 7/8 x 9/16 inches. This pair of wine cups are small but absolutely beautiful. The workmanship shows off the impeccable finesse with which Kangxi potters made their wares. The cobalt blue is true and vibrant, the painting bold, and the molded shape (two layers of lotus petals!) charming.

Adorable and whimsical antique baby's hat in the image of a Chinese lion, made of teal silk with golden stitched flowers and swirled designs, side panels in black silk with stitched koi fish in bright multicolors, black back panel with embroidered butterflies, a beautiful, deep purple back flap with gold stitching and an embroidered bird sitting under flowers. The hat's interior is bright red silk...

An unique and rare Qinghai pear shaped vase, decorated with a pair of Lizard climbing to the body, covered overall even with bluish green tone. Possibly Yuan dynasty Jindezhen ware Shufu type. Condition is very good, only minor area with short firing crack to the base, mouth rim and lizard as well. Height: 23,9cm.

This Chinese wood carving from the Qing Dynasty portrays a seated nobleman. The surface is covered with remains of the original multi layers of lacquer paint. There are no marks on the bottom. Hand carved and only 4 inches high this is a charming piece of old folk art, an artifact from the glory days of old China.

This is a fine piece of jade like glass hairpin with gilt silver, used by qing era courtesan or noble lady.
