This piece is quite rare because of its overglaze enamel decoration. A nice chrysanthemum decoration done with a thick sky blue enamel. Late Ming Dynasty, sixteenth century. Diameter : 12,2 cm. H : 8,1 cm. Condition : Some fiering cracks ( the kind of the crazing around the cracks point to it that the cracks are fiering cracks and not a later damage - unfortunately the closeups are not good enough to show this )

A early Ming dish with a very nice garden setting scene. Ming Zhengtong periode ( 1436 - 1449 ) Condition : A nearly not visible short hairline and one single chip. Very nice blue ! Diameter : 19,8 cm.

A large Ming Dynasty dish decorated in underglaze Cobalt blue with floral scrolls and a Buddhistic Lion to the center. Pieces of this kind were found at the LENA SHOAL JUNK. Pair of Tiele (Chinese Ironwood) Weiqi boxes, carved from solid wood. Weiqi was the forerunner of the Japanese board game of Go, and one of the Four Arts, that someone from the "gentleman class" were supposed to know. These boxes are used to put the stone pieces in. The front of the pendant is decorated with 3 figures in a garden, one holding a fan and one holding a parasol. The text on the back of these pendants is usually about protection and good fortune for the wearer. Dimensions: 7 x 5,5 cm, length of the chain 53 cm. Weight 68 gr. There are holes on 3 sides of the pendant. There is a hallmark on the top side. Provenance: Dutch private collection. The acid test shows a silver content of ca. 90 %.
