A very richly decorated Famille Noire jar. ( Famille Noire is actually Famille Verte with a black background.) There is not only a pair of peacocks, there are also cranes, ducks and flying birds and a lot of Lotus flowers and plants. Apocryphal underglaze blue Ming mark. Probably 19th. century or older. On the base of the jar is an old inventory Number which probably indicates that the piece comes from an old German collection. H : 26,8 cm. Condition : Perfect

Antique Chinese fine and extremely ornate carved altar cabinet with mother of pearl inlay, pierced carved with dragons in swirling clouds, center panel with family of three fu-dogs, claw feet, mother of pearl scenes of figures, flowers and buddhist symbols, bone carved details, sides carved with flowers in vases, hardwood, 18th/ 19th century. Total size: 43" high (40 1/4" high to table top) x 52 1/2" wide x 20 1/2" deep (18" deep table top).

Five dynaties yue "MISE" bowl with lotus pattern outside wall. 17,8cm diameter. Bowl has three short hairlines and views small chipped at the rim. No restorations.

The brilliantly enamelled peach decoration on this bowl is absolutely superb and the fact that this bowl bears a rare iron red Shengdetang mark is an additional enhancement concerning the importance of this Famille Rose decorated bowl. Qing Dynasty Daoguang Period ( 1821 - 1850 ) Diameter : 16,1 cm. Condition : Actually perfect with no crack or chip and with a nice sound when tapped. The enamelled decoration also wonderfully preserved...

This leaf shaped Chinese late 19th century blue and white serving dish is 7 ¾” long, 4 ¾” at its widest part and 1 ¾” high. The blue and white floral design covers the side and the rim. There are five small feet on the bottom. It is in excellent condition.

A twin-handled bronze censer. The base carries the six character reign mark of the Xuande emperor (1426-1435) but this item was made later, possibly during the reign of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722). This censer is from the collection of a British architect who was born in China and lived in Shanghai. It came to the UK with him in 1931...

A nephrite Jian Ge(an accessory between the sword blade and the handle)decorated with Chi Longs. I am not sure about the date of this, but believe that it should be Qing or earlier.
