A small Chinese trumpet shaped porcelain vase in gilt mirror-black glaze, six characters "Daqing Kangxi Nianzhi" mark inside the foot rim, we date it to late 19th century. The vase is in perfect condition beside gilt losing. Height: 6"

Large Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - 9 AD) hu form earthenware jar with a flaring mouth embellished with a wide raised collar. The chalky painted mineral pigment decoration on this type of jar was designed to imitate the inlaid decoration on Chinese bronze vases. According to the Metropolitan Museum, the swirling cloud-like designs covering the vessel are thought to represent celestial mists through which the deceased would travel to join the immortals. Dates circa 1st century B.C...

A Chinese porcelain dish decorated with famille verte enamel. The center of the dish is decorated with two birds in a garden amidst peony and pine beneath a ruyi border. The wide, everted rim is decorated with phoenixes and peonies on a stippled ground, beneath the molded 'pie-crust' edge. A large 10 inch Chinese celadon porcelain plate beautifully painted in polychrome enamels featuring a bird, insects, butterflies, and flowers. The painting was well executed by an artist who had a good eye for design. In very good antique condition, there is one fine hairline measuring .75" or 1.9 cm. and 1 fleabite. Marked on the back, it dates Tongzhi Period (1862-74).

Chinese Blue and White Porcelain covered Paste Ink Box, Ca. late 1700's, 1 3/8" high, 2 1/2" diameter, underglaze dark Blue flower decoration on the grayish white color of body in the center on top of the cover, glaze hairline about 1" to 1 1/2" long but not open hairline underneath the cover inside, some surface scratches on top of the cover in the center area.

Chinese Export "Hatcher" Shipwreck covered Blue and White Porcelain Paste Ink Box, Ca. 17th C., 1 1/8" high include cover, 2 1/8" diameter, underglaze blue Sun Flower design is very detailed under the slightly Celadon Green glaze, the fine brush strokes are very well done. This beautiful Paste Ink box was auctioned as one of the "Hatcher Shipwreck Collection" sale in June 1984 in Amsterdam by Christie's. Chinese Blue and White covered rectangle shape Scholar's Box, Ca. 1880-1920, 2" high maximum, 4 3/8" x 3 1/8" wide, underglaze blue design of the flowers in the basket in the diamond shape cartouche enclosed with geometric blue design of triangle shape borders on four(4) corners, supported by four(4) short feet, bottom is unglazed. There are etched Chinese Characters written inside the bottom of the box and also under the cover. The dome top cover is wrapped a little, doesn't fit tightly...

Blue and white Chinese export Canton plate measuring 8.5 inches diameter. In excellent condition, no chips, no hairlines, no frits or flea bites, just normal firing flaws. Dates circa 1830.

An authentic large Tang tomb Attendant wearing a typical attendant's outfit with remains of the original pigments. Large pottery items were made in three parts, the head, upper body and lower body.This item was excavated from a tomb in 1998 with many other items. See last photo. Age: Tang Dynasty 618 - 907 AD. Chinese underglaze Porcelain Blue and White Tea Jar, 18th century, 4 1/2", 1 3/4" diameter-top rim, 2 1/2" diameter-bottom rim, 4 1/4"w-widest area, underglaze blue design of Lotus sprouting upward from the water in the pond, interlocking with precious Chinese symbols, unglazed bottom rim and top. The bottom shows the double underglaze Blue circles. The condition is good, no damages or restorations.

A very rare extremely large storage jar from the Chinese Song period, 960 -1126 AD.These jars were used for storage for Chinese trading vessels. They were then traded off to Chieftains in Southeast Asia and were considered sacred items. Most jars were from the Ming to the middle Qing Dynasties. This one is very rare as it dates back to the Song Dynasty. This vase was found in Borneo, Malaysia. It is unusual to find this size jar intact from that period. Size: H. 76 cm. W. 57 cm...

Chinese Western to Eastern Jin dynasty (ca. 4th century) Yue ware dish-mouth vase (pan kou hu) with wide shoulders tapering to a flat, slightly concave unglazed base. Two double-strand lug handles are at the top of the shoulder connecting to the bottom of the short neck. It is covered in a thin, light buff-celadon colored glaze that extends down toward the unglazed base. The glaze becomes more buff-tan in coloration in a patch on one shoulder and in some areas of the neck and mouth. 11" high...
