The dishes are small, absolutely lovely and quite unique with their simple decoration of a flying crane and the other dish with a butterfly decoration. This pair of dishes fascinates by its simplicity. Ming Dynasty, Wanli period ( 1573 - 1620 ) Porcelain dishes with a Cobalt blue decoration, most probably Jingdezhen ware. Diameter : 8,7 cm. Condition : Perfect with a nice glaze and a nice "ping-tone" when tapped. No cracks, no chips - this what looks like small rim chips is covered with glaze.

An extremely cute pair of ceramic sculptures of two young Chinese children peeking over a balcony. The pair of children appear to be fragments of an old roof tile, and each one is set upon a wooden stand. The modeling of the children is exceptional, especially the character in their faces. A small underglaze blue decorated stem dish painted inside with three 17th/18th Centuty style cranes and outside with three bats. The stem is decorated with buddhist knots and stylized plantain leaves. To the inside of the base is the four character mark of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722) but this item was probably made later, during the 19th Century. Condition - there are two repairs to the rim, each with an associated short hairline. No further damages or restoration...
A Chinese reticulated iron porcelain snuff bottle with a dragon and phoenix among clouds beneath key fret and ryui border, neck with a silver rim, jade stopper. The red color is the same as used when decorating porcelain, though in
this case it is applied as a solid color. The desired effect is to imitate red cinnabar lacquer. Circa, probably from the Jiaqing period (1796 - 1820). Height 3".
