Since there still are no publications concerning this kind of ware, this extremely decorative and of course genuine Jar is difficult to date. Most probably this Jar is from the Song Dynasty (Private kiln, Fujian / Guandong ) but it also could be that this Jar is later, from the 14th - 15th century . Hardwood Nuo mask, big and heavy, representing an unidentified character with a very serene expression. Coat of red lacquering on plaster, long gone around mouth and nose (the red color is generally used to indicate courage, loyalty and devotion).

17th Century Chinese Kangxi Famille Noire Turquoise Glaze Porcelain Vase with Flowers Marked

It is 8.85 inches (22.5 cm) tall by 4 inches (10.3 cm) wide. It is 1.1 Lb.

It has a hairline crack (about 6 cm in length) at the lip along with small chips. It also has stains, glaze crazing, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

A lovely Jiaqing period floral dish, decorated with good-quality bright enamels. Possibly a birthday dish, as there is a bat (good fortune) and peach (longevity) in the dish center.

Condition: good antique condition, with two rim chips and some fleabites to the foot rim...

A well potted bowl in Chrysanthemum shape and glazed with a pale Qingbai glaze. Southern Song Dynasty ( 1127 - 1279 ) Diameter : 11,9 cm. H : 4,5 cm. Condition : Very nice condition with one nearly invisible hairline that actually seems to be quite insignificant because despite this hairline the bowl has a nice ping tone when tapped. ( Please look the last enlargement ).

It is an astonishing vase which does not resemble anything known.The shape is very elegant and the decor simple but powerful. But I have absolutely no idea what it is. It is probably buffed sandstone rather than terracotta. The decoration presents a dragon in slight relief pursuing the sacred pearl. The decoration seems to me molded rather than sculpted. A cream glaze covers the whole, stained with brown iron oxide...

Chinese famille rose porcelain tea cups, each with pink and white chrysanthemums with outstretched stems and leaves in pastel greens, a light aubergine band around the rim with small flowers and leaves in curling designs, and a light blue half-star design underneath.
