A Ming Celadon Ware Meiping Vase, Longquan Kilns, Zhejiang Province, 16th Century. Heavily Potted with an Incised Diaper Pattern. The Base within the Broad Footrim is is Partly Unglazed, this has Fired Orange Due to Iron-Oxide in the Body. Height 21.5 cm A minor frittings on the rim and shoulder, no chips, cracks or hairlines and free from restorations.

Unusual Archaic Chinese round jade carving, dated from the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC–24 AD), incised with wonderful scenes of a grinning man holding a Ruyi scepter, riding on the back of a chimera on one side, and on the other side is a woman dancing while a man beside her plays the flute. A fantastic piece with excellent detailing and character. Thin in design.

Antique Quanyin stone carving, the bodhisattva of compassion. She is seated upon a lotus throne with her legs crossed in the lotus position, her left hand holding a container, with her right hand performing the akash mudra or Buddhist hand gesture, increasing the space element within. She wears beautiful open robes with delicate patterns and a crown upon her head.
