This marked bowl is one of 2 bowls which do come from an old German colletion. The condition of the glaze of the bowl is so perfect and glossy that it simply is impossible that this bowl an excavated piece. The glaze of this bowl is so much better than the glaze of excavated pieces so that this bowl must be an rare unearthed piece which already in very early times - maybe hundreds of years ago - came to Europe.

A small enamelled copper box, the cover depicting a grasshopper or cricket amongst grasses and flowers. The base carries a "CHINA" stamp which dates it to post 1890. Wonderful pair of Chinese cloisonne elephants, each one sits on it's rear end with trunk high in the air, decorated all over with beautiful cloisonne motifs, these pieces are actually containers! The heads come off to reveal little domed lids, these also come off to reveal containers! Each elephant sits on a stand. Beautiful and charming!

A rare large deep dish, of Imperial quality, very finely painted in shades of iron red depicting two five clawed dragons amongst clouds contesting a flaming pearl. There are two similarly painted five-clawed dragons, each in pursuit of a pearl, painted on the underside. The base carries the partly erased six character mark of the Qianlong Emperor but this item was probably made later, during the reign of the Guangxu Emperor (1875-1908). Condition - excellent...
