This brass charger is in the shape of an alms dish and has an interior base that is inset with a brass repousse coat of arms plaque that is attached by brass rivets. The dish has an old mottled russet-brown patina overall. It has an old brass loop attached for hanging. Good condition.

This Lohan stands with his robes open and his arms crossed, a hole drilled through his hands to hold something, perhaps a staff or a candle. A large wooden Christian cross with beautiful lotus and vines decoration inlaid in engraved mother of pearl, originating from Macau, Vietnam or Southern China. Rearside with paper label. Crosses such as this example would have served in the teaching of the Bible in East Asia. Condition: partially chipped rims, center with restaured area (please see photo no. 7). Japanese Meiji to Taisho period ogi folding fan decorated with a single bird in flight over treetops. Signed at the right and with artist's seal. Late 19th to early 20th century. Measures about 8 3/4" vertical x 18 7/8" across from tip to tip. Very good, clean overall condition with some minor crinkling of the paper at the corners. Large bronze bracelet of flat shape decorated on one side with several geometric designs inside which are remnants of silver inlays, and on the other side with a series of squarish incised geometric designs which must have contained silver inlays, now gone. Philippines Archipelago, Mindanao Island, 19th century, maybe earlier. Diameter: 4 7/8" (12,5 cm). A small dent on the outer rim, otherwise good condition. Collected in the Philippines in 1978. A rather rare piece.
