Museum quality large Phayao, northern Thailand, Lan Na Kingdom period, brown and olive-glazed baluster storage jar, 1300-1500 AD. 17 1/4" tall, roughly 13" in diameter. This jar is decorated with four bands of stamped motifs, including twin fish (first band), elephants (second band), floral motifs and others. Some condition issues, but overall integrity of the jar has been preserved. Please inquire.

Description: A beautiful shipwrecked late Southern Song longquan celadon dish with its charming glaze was kept in very good condition except some glaze friction on the rim. A stunning HONGZHI (HUNG-CHIH 1488-1505) DEEP Rich Yellow glazed dish with rounded sides supported on a tapered foot, the interior incised with an Imperial 5- clawed Dragon amidst Ruyi Clouds, encircled by a band of motifs.
