Tlatilco Pottery Figure Mexico Figure with Double Spouted Headdress. Circa. 200 B.C. – 100 A.D. 8" high. Hollow pottery example. This a pre-classic seated figure having a double spouted headdress. Loss to one spout and tip of left arm, otherwise intact.

A nearly Imperial quality piece. Ming Chengua period ( 1465 - 1487 ) decorated with " Ruyi " scroll. Extremely well potted body, a wonderful very white silky glaze and exclusively painted in the for Chenghua tylical watery blue. The rim covered with solid gold with a solid golden lid. Diameter : 9 cm. H : 7,5 cm. without lid. ( With lid : 9,2 cm. ) Condition : All visible parts of the porcelain body are in a absolutely perfect condition.

Diameter approximately 8.9 cm. There is a soft glaze missing on the rim. In good condition.

This is cotton Furosiki used in Kyoto in the Edo era. It is thick, and this is good cotton of a good texture . This is dyed with an artistic portrait of a lion and Katazome of the peony pattern and a brown plain fabric. There is small holes and damage ,thin stains. However, the condition is good generally. An unusual Arita saucer dish decorated with a three colour pattern of a pair of gnarled prunus , Japanese apricot trees incorporating four low relief Prunus flowers, umehana, approximately 50% larger than the painted flowers, and a central motif of a Flowering Peony branch. The reverse decorated with three further flowering prunus branches. A single underglaze blue circle to the interior of the footring and a set of four spur marks in a "Y" shaped formation...

Antique Japanese tall stone sekitō (pagoda) with five tiers. Made of granite and carved in 9 stacking pieces. The central square section is carved with a seated Buddha on four sides. The top spire is carved with 9 tiers between lotus petals. The surface has a beautiful patina and is covered with areas lichen and moss.

Chinese porcelain planter in a squared form tapering slightly towards the base, incised with imagery of birds perching, grapes and coiling vines, blooming flowers against a yellow enamel ground. The upper and lower part of the planter with bands of archaic scrolls in cobalt blue. The rim has red floral scrolling motifs. The base is marked "China" in red. With dense carved wooden stand of an inverted lotus form.

Very small, black lacquered shrine (gilded on the inside) with inside the wooden figure of the Bodhisattva Marishi-ten in three-headed form (left head is a boar's head), sitting on a lotus base carried on the backs of seven boars. In his hands he holds a branch of the asoka tree, a sword, bow and arrows. The carving is slightly abstracted, but nevertheless full of detail...
