Kho Noi kiln is one of the Si Satcharanai kilns. This kiln had been making appliances for the loyal family of Skhothai kingdom and the works are very sophisticated among the Sawanakhalok kilns. The color of celadon is very refreshing green and comparable to Chinese one. This piece is stored by a famous collector in Japan with wooden box. There are some small chips at the bottom fringe. A circular qingbai porcelain box of compressed drum shape with neatly lobed sides and a slightly concave base. The domed cover has a concave top, which is mould-­impressed with small chrysanthemum flowers. Both the exterior and interior of the box and cover are coated in a thin, translucent bluish­-white glaze, leaving the rims and base unglazed, exposing the sugary white body, which has some brown and black firing marks...
