A Korean Finely Inlaid and Molded Celadon Octagonal Bowl-13th C.:
Korea, Koryo period, 13th Century,
It is molded on the interior with a central flower head medallion, each facet on the
exterior inlaid with double flower heads on a leafy stem within a rectangle,
all within lined in borders, bearing spur marks on the base. It is covered overall
with a grayish green celadon glaze.
It is in fine condition without any famages except a firing crack near the foot rim...
Elegant shaped with slight fairly thickly potted, covered overall with rare bluish green glazed to whole body, the base is glazed and have a short hairline crack, the handle is out then re-glued. Koryo 12th/13th century. High: 18.5cm and Wide: 15cm.

A very beautiful potted tea bowl or cup decorated full exterior and interior in white slip,
with a central flower head medallion, surrounded by a wide band of “rope curtain” pattern,
and a narrow band of an abstract design. beneath a pale celadon glaze, set on a raised
ring foot unglazed. It’s in very fine condition, measures12.3cm x 5.2cm h.

white slip inlaid with chrysanthemum flower head on the exterior, and the interior is

except a tiny hair line crack on the rim...

A most superb work of Art of the Yuan Dynasty ( 1279 - 1368 ). If there would not be this extraordinary thick and smooth, best kind of Qingbai glaze this piece would assume to be a ordinary Yuan period covered box...
