An attractive gold plated signed AMITA JAPAN komai 6-1/2" bracelet. This bracelet is done in the Komai damascening technique in which gold, copper and silver are inlaid into etched grooves on black oxidized metal backings. This 3/4" wide bracelet features Chinese characters, scenes of buildings, a dragon, bamboo, a boat and a rickshaw with rider; it has a box clasp and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Wonderfully designed hand made necklace by MAYA, Mexico, c.1950's after a Hubert Harmon design. Maya frequently copied Harmon designs. Looks just like silver with a great patina, but probably made of silver plate because there are no Mexican silver marks. The locking mechanism is separated from the main part by black velvet ribbon. Of large scale, the largest irregular square measures 2" wide by 1 3/4" high and the necklace measures 15 1/2" around...

A vintage heavy modernist pendant with a raw amethyst wrapped in silver metal, (probably plate) in a brutalist design. Signed Nielsen Denmark in two places. Measures 2 5/8" long and 1 3/4" wide. Also measures 1 3/8" thick. Has a large round bale so can accommodate a thick chain or neck ring. Fine condition, wonderful design.

A vintage hand made pendant with an agate like stone held in place by tentacles reminiscent of the work of Carl Tasha or Richard Kaish in bronze or brass.

An outstanding pair of heavy French Art Deco 18K yellow and white gold cufflinks set with cabochon garnets. Each of the faces comprises a set of three gold discs—two yellow and one white—stacked and offset to one side. The upper discs are pierced by a bright cabochon garnet. The design has a severe, almost industrial modernist, look that was surely very unusual in its time. The backs are stamped with French 18K marks and the master goldsmith’s mark for Paul Marteau...

Fabulous very long French poured glass sautoir with thin dark goldtone metal chains and luscious glass beads simulating carved jewels in six colors: green, blue, cranberry, purple, topaz, and a beautiful dark pink tourmaline color I have not seen before in French jewelry. Circa 1950 or possibly earlier; the clasp is an early spring ring without the thumb tab. 60 inches long and just under 5/8 inch wide at the largest beads. This wonderfully interesting ring is 5.75 in size and is made of 10K gold. The front has a swirled shape with 4 graduating, colored stones (ball-shaped). The inside of the band is marked 10K and has a maker's mark of an S inside a pentagon. Its truly unusual and in excellent condition.

The story of this Mexican Deco silver and turquoise hinged bangle is an interesting one.
