Here are a pair of late 19th-century oval cuff buttons decorated with horseshoes of inlaid dyed black onyx. They are probably American; the round backs show a sterling mark and possible maker’s mark for Ludwig, Redlich & Co. of New York. The surface exhibits the warm patina of considerable age, but the inlay shows no loss. The backs are well soldered and secure. Each oval button measures about ¾ inch long by ½ inch wide. Weight: 5.2 grams total

An Edwardian pink coral cameo sterling marcasite pin circa 1900. This stylish 2-1/4" pin features two large marcasites flanking a 3/4" x 3/8" carved light pink coral portrait cameo, which has a subtle pink blush. A stunning, top quality rhinestone choker c1950s, made by Schoffel & Co. of Austria. This adjustable necklace ranges from 13-3/4" to 16" and it is 5/8" across; the closed-back rhinestones are brilliant and sparkle wonderfully, with the purple stones being particularly intense. I have had full-sized Mexican silver and stone "idol" pendant necklace before but none like this exquisite example I am presenting here. Beautifully carved and visually imposing, the pendant's onyx Aztec / Maya male figure is shown in what I believe might be a supplication position. Cross-hatched bracelets carved into the stone hug his wrists while a silver necklace and an impressive headdress are the only other adornments covering his naked body...

Wonderful 14k gold ring constructed around a 19th century shell cameo by ED WIENER, NYC, c.1960. Made of very heavy gauge gold(weighs 10dwt=1/2 troy oz.), it is size 7. Ed Wiener would take a special cameo, stone, enamel piece, etc and build a ring or brooch around it. The beautiful textured gold work sets off the inset cameo. Dark oxydized gold also sets off the separate bezzle around the cameo...

Elegant 14Kt yellow gold and amethyst earrings are set with a pair of 6 X 4 millimeter oval faceted amethysts. The 12 X 10 millimeter gold oval outline creates a halo effect around the prong set amethysts.

Wonderful period retro 2-color 14k (rose & yellow)gold, diamonds and rubies watch with a wonderful bracelet, c.1940. This substantial 1950s sterling silver pin is formed as molded leaves, with applied flowers and a vine at the base. It was made by the Bauring Company of Long Island City, NY, and is so marked on the back. There is a secure safety clasp. The piece measures 3 1/4 inches long by 2 1/8 inches wide.
