Beautifully detailed in 940 sterling silver this delightful, hand crafted brooch was designed & signed c. 1940-45 by Taxco, Mexico Maestro Hector Aguilar. The "puffy heart" body supports the obsidian head, face and large ears all defined in silver. Pin measures 2 3/4" x 2 1/4" and weighs 50 grams. Beautiful condition and patina. 1/16" scratch on stone. Elegant pair of 18k yellow and white gold, cultured pearl and diamond pierced earrings, circa 1950's. Centered with one 6.0mm cultured pearl surrounded by fourteen round single cut diamonds set throughout curved milgrained channels. The diamonds are predominately VS in clarity and G-I in color. The bracelet comprises nine comma-shaped flaring gold links, each set with either a tourmaline cabochon or a pearl. A stunning cast sterling necklace with four amethyst arrowhead shaped carved stones. Measuring 16 1/2" (42 cm) long, the central sterling pieces are 1 1/2" (4.1 cm) x 1 1/8" (3.2 cm) and the two side pieces are 1 1/8" (3.2 cm) in each direction. The amethyst pieces measure 1 3/8" (3.9 cm) X 5/8" (2 cm), including the sterling caps. Beckmann sold in San Miguel de Allende from the late 1950's through the 1970's. This is a wonderful example of the earlier work that came out of her shop...

A nice smaller-size pyramidal Etruscan style 18K yellow gold fob charm set with carnelian and dyed green chalcedony cabochons. The gold surfaces are finely decorated with beading and wirework in the antique Etruscan manner. The original jump ring is stamped with Italian 18K hallmarks.

A pair of Taxco, Mexico Sterling Silver earrings with Tortoise Shell by William Spratling. The marks on these earrings date them to 1949-1956.

Measure 1" across. Marked on the back of one earring with the conjoined Script WS and 925.

Screw backs hold securely. Fine condition. Tortoise shell is a warm, honey brown color. Have some tarnish and minor scratches...
