A large pair of 18K yellow gold Sputnik earrings by H Stern. The domes are bezel-set with round amethysts, citrines, aquamarines, peridots, green tourmalines, pink tourmalines and garnets. The Sputnik design was created in the 1950’s to highlight the range of colored gemstones available from Stern’s Brazilian mines. It later came to be called “Sputnik” for its resemblance to the spiky Soviet satellite launched in 1957...

Circa 1943-1948, the "Armadillo" design was originally created by Valentin Vidaurreta. It's a very striking and unique piece which immediately commands attention. This bracelet has two opposing silver discs set in the center of a black strap with a silver buckle closure. A handsome mid-Victorian Scottish agate pendant featuring pear-shaped cabochons of bloodstone ("heliotrope") and carnelian in a fine gold setting. The gold surfaces are heavily decorated with fiolate engraving. Queen Victoria personally led the fashion for all things Scottish. Most jewels were set in silver; those set in gold were generally made in London using Scottish stones. Tested and guaranteed 15K.

One side oval, the other oblong; both sides are marked sterling. The bridge links are secure and the abalone is in nice condition, with no cracks or chips. The longer side measures ¾ inch long, the other measures ½ inch long.

Edwardian Pin, 18 K yellow gold and platinum pin. The pin is bezel set with an oval natural ruby weighing 1.00 carat. The ruby has a medium to medium light reddish-pink intensity with good clarity. There are sixty eight rose cut diamonds bead set in a platinum gallery around the ruby. The craftsmanship is fine, and the condition is excellent. Circa 1901 - 1914. The pin measures 3 ½” in length. Note: Mounted gemstones are graded only to the extent that mounting permits examination.
