A vintage hand wrought sterling silver brooch from the American Studio Modernist jeweler, John Lewis. Made up of multiple circles at different heights and contrasting textures. You can see the light hammering around the edge.

Measures about 2 1/4" across and 2" high. Heavy and substantial. Weighs 38 gr. Marked Sterling and with the crossed JL mark of the artist. It is marked under the pin making it difficult to photograph.

A pair of modernist sterling silver screw back earrings in a tulip design by the noted MCM studio jeweler, Paul Lobel. Constructed of a layer of oxidized sterling with a contrasting polished curved sterling wire overlay.

Screw backs measure 1 1/8" long and 3/4" across and hold securely. They are marked LOBEL Sterling and the screw part is marked Sterling.

Minor surface scratches. They have a warm patina and are wonderfully crafted...

This Korda 'riding guard' from the Thief of Bagdad is gold plated base metal. This item was inspired by the guards on horseback who, in the film, make their way through the crowd, for the princess' arrival. This item was manufactured by the Rice-Weiner & Co, of Providence, Rhode Island. It is hallmarked with Thief of Bagdad, Korda and what appears to be a check mark 3 on one side and 61 or 6r on the other side. 2 1/2" x 2 5/8" . Excellent condition. Circa 1940...

The larger pendant, made up of interconnected circles with a curved in central disk, measures 2 3/4" long including the bale and 1 5/8" wide. Looks like a stylized cross. Pendant is marked 830S for the Finnish silver standard, and Finland...

A pair of 10k rose gold leaf earrings set with genuine rubies circa 1950s. These vintage custom made screw back earrings are in the form of curled leaves studded with claw-set natural rubies. They are stamped 10KT and GAJ; the rubies are approximately 2 points each by gauge. They weigh 2.4 grams, and they are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Here is a sensational sterling bangle with fretwork and crushed turquoise. Signed JEG Taxco 925 with an eagle 2. Weighing 53 grams, the inner diameter (closed) is just shy of 2-1/4" and the piece is 7/8" wide. Remnants of polish. The photos make the turquoise appear green but it is blue with a hint of green.

This Art Nouveau seed pearl and enamel pin was tested to be 14K. It is 7/8" in diameter.

This Alexander Korda 'Thief of Bagdad' cloaked rider pin is silver colored base metal. This pin is considered a masterpiece of costume jewelry some of which were produced by Rice Weiner inspired by Korda's 1940 film.

A vintage modernist sterling silver cuff bracelet by Danish silversmith, Palle Bisgaard in a tiered curved shape. His torque necklace, part of this same line is included in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This is the widest version of this cuff, with an extra tier at the bottom edge.

Measures about 5 1/2" around with an opening of 1" and 3/4" at the widest. There does not appear to be much give so it is better for an average to slender wrist.

An interesting, heavy organic ring by the Swedish Modernist Jeweler, Isaac Cohen. Marked Isaac Cohen, ICO for the maker, Town Mark for Stockholm, National Mark, Silver Standard, and date code for 1967. Isaac Cohen was the owner of Galarie 22, a fashionable jewelry store in Stockholm. Top measures about 1 1/8" long and 1 1/8" across. Sits about 5/8" high off the shank. Ring is between an 8 - 8 1/2. Looks like someone may have previously sized it...

This desirable pin is full of jazzy faux diamonds and brilliant green rhinestones that sparkle and glitter like there is no tomorrow. And that’s just what it was about during the flamboyant Deco period... glitzy and flashy.

The broach measures 2 1/2” across and 1 ¼” deep. It is in excellent vintage condition with some slight plating wear and guaranteed vintage.

His items are rare because he only produced jewelry between 1935-1943 and was killed in WWII.

This bold bracelet, probably American, has a modern sensibility that belies its ca. 1890 origins. It is composed of a polished hollow sterling silver curb chain with a sterling heart-shaped padlock closure. This padlock has no key but can be opened simply by a gentle tug on the lever mechanism and a gentle push to close. A beautiful Georg Jensen USA Laurence Foss designed brooch in a classic Arts and Crafts pineapple style. Brooch measures 1 3/8" tall and 1 1/4" across. Has a teardrop moonstone cabochon. Marked with U.S.A. Georg Jensen, Inc., 480 and Sterling. Has a roll over safety clasp which holds securely. Nice patina and weight. Some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. This lovely enameled pansy, originally a screwback earring, has been converted to a colorful ring with the addition of sterling silver shank. The pansy is enameled in bright shades of purple and yellow. The enamel has a slight iridescent effect and is translucent so the engraved silver shines through for added texture.
