A very uniquely shaped broach/pendant is this 14Kt white gold filigree shell cameo from the 1920-s depicting the silhouette of a young lady. Art nouveau elements are incorporated in the designs of the cameo carving as well as the shape of the broach resembling a flower basket. The 1 7/8” wide and 1 3/8” high broach has a fold down bail that makes it wearable as a pendant.

Gorgeous pendant comprised of a 14 karat yellow gold sunburst, with white gold accents, centered by a .89 carat round brilliant-cut blue sapphire of dark, vividly saturated, very slightly greenish-blue color. The stone exhibits notable green and blue pleochroism is likely Australian in origin. The chain in the photo is not included...

A sterling silver heavy, modernist pendant in a brutalist style possibly designed by Henning Koppel for the Danish silversmith, Niels Erik (NE) From. Have not been able to find any other designer with HK hallmark.

This unusual pendant is made from rough oxidized and smooth polished layers of sterling. Has a large bale so would accommodate a thicker chain or neck ring. Currently strung on a black leather cord.

This pair of estate oval carved jade earrings is set in 14Kt yellow gold settings with none pierced screw backs. The 15 X 12 millimeter oval carved jade pieces are prong set in the center. The overall measurements of the earrings are 19 X 15 millimeters.

A fine Victorian shell cameo pendant/pin depicting Diana, goddess of the hunt, the moon and nature (Artemis in Green mythology). The setting is beautifully worked in the Etruscan taste with delicately formed bead, wire and rosette decoration. The carving makes nice use of the shell's coloring to add details to the goddess' gown. She holds three of her attributes—a bow, a quiver of arrows and a crescent moon tiara...

An Art Deco 14K diamond solitaire ring in 14k yellow and 18k white gold circa 1920s. This vintage size 6 ring measures 3/16" across the diamond, which is a 20 point round brilliant cut stone of VS-2 clarity and F colour, fair cut. This ring is stamped 14K-18K with a maker's mark, it weighs 2.6 grams. It had an independent gemological appraisal for $1000 (from August 2009). This item is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

This colorful brooch depicts a red poppy in full bloom, with green leaves and buds. It was made by the well-known Bippart Griscomb & Osborn Company of Newark, New Jersey. It is also stamped for “14k”. Measuring 1” x 1-1/4”, it has the long pin stem often found on antique jewels. There is an interestingly-shaped freshwater pearl mounted at the top, and another dangling below...

This striking lavalier is centered by a light purple amethyst (traditionally good for maintaining clarity of mind), framed by rose gold panels which are a mix of Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts in style. It has a pearl dangle with good luster, which is interestingly off-round. Measuring 1-5/8” including the pearl but not the jump ring, by 7/8”. The amethyst measures 3/8” x ¼”. It is marked “9ct” but tests as 10k (this is not unusual)...

A Birks 14k man's 3 diamonds row ring in yellow and white gold circa 1950s. The size is approximately size 14, or may be a little larger, as our ring mandrel (ring sizer bar) doesn't go any higher. This vintage gentleman's diamond band is stamped BIRKS (indistinct), it tests as 14k gold and it has an independent gemologist appraisal for $1000 CAD from 2008. The additional marks may have been lost a sizing, as sometimes happens...

This classic jewel consists of a circle of gold, enameled in cobalt blue, with gold highlights. A 3-looped bow is interlaced through it, decorated with tiny seed pearls, as are the bail and dropper. There are a couple very minor flaws in the enamel - invisible without magnification. It is stamped for 15kt gold, and the gold has that lovely rich color we rarely see these days. There is a place on the back where it looks as though someone made a repair, but of course it’s not visible when worn...

A matching set of 10k yellow gold citrine (or citrene) screwback earrings and pendant on chain. This vintage set consists of three 5/8" across settings with claw-set faceted rectangular natural citrenes. The pendant is on a 16-1/2" fine link chain with a spring-ring clasp and it is also stamped 10KT (ECCO); the earrings are stamped 10K. This lovely set weighs 8.5 grams, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

This is one of our very favorite pieces: a striking Jugendstil (Germany and Austria’s Arts & Crafts) pendant which is enameled in white and purple. This yellow gold necklace is centered by a dark red garnet (probably a spessartite). Garnets are the birthstone for January, and were traditionally thought to keep travelers safe. The dangle is set with a blister pearl which has a mellow off-white color. There are 3 tiny seed pearls in the main setting.
