A sterling silver modernist brooch by noted Mid Century jeweler, Caroline Gleick Rosene. This brooch is made from three thick squared off sterling wires attached to a small triangular piece of sterling. Marked Sterling Rosene on the back. Measures 2 1/4" across and 7/8" at the widest. Rollover safety clasp holds securely. Great example of Mid Century studio jewelry.

A Victorian 14k rose gold seed pearls flower or starburst bar brooch pin from around 1900. This stylish late Victorian 1-1/4 x 1/2" pin features natural seed pearls in a pinwheel style setting. This dainty pin was made by Hermann & Speck, well-known jewelers of Pforzheim in Germany in the years around the turn of the last century. It is centered by a blue sapphire, and it has a pearl dangle. It is marked 333 for 8kt gold, but when we tested it, it held for 10k (this is not unusual; however we had never seen a mark for 8kt gold before! Very unusual!)...

Beautiful very long vintage 1920s necklace with graduated cherry amber Bakelite faceted translucent beads, strung in a continuous strand with no clasp. Tests positive for Bakelite with Simichrome. Great size -- 62 inches wearable length. The largest center bead is 22mm by 13mm and the smallest beads are 8mm by 6mm. Excellent condition. Display form is life size. This iconic Spratling brooch was designed c. 1940's by American & Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). The pin stands 2 1/2" tall X 2" wide and weighs 41 grams. Each amethyst is bezel set and surrounded by a deep channel giving the eyes a 3 D effect. Both silver and stones are in beautiful condition. Pin back and safety are in fine working order. A vintage pair of sterling silver cuff links by Georg Jensen with the GJ mark used from 1933-44 in the iconic fish design. Measure 3/4" across. Marked with GJ, Sterling Denmark, 14 and 925. Have a toggle clasp. In fine condition. Great example of Georg Jensen's classic design.

Pendant composed of the inside of a conch shell that is mounted in wound sterling silver wire. The chain of twisted sterling silver bands is stamped 925 and has a secure pressure hook clasp. Each connecting ring is soldered closed. Clasped, the necklace measures 17 inches long, including the pendant.

Of hollow construction and graduated thickness, with angular sides. The top surface of the bracelet has been machine-etched in a tight zig-zag pattern. The hinge has a good spring and the bracelet has retained its shape and sits nicely on the wrist. The inner circumference measures 7 inches; the bracelet opens to 1 ½ inches to slide over the hand. It is light and comfortable to wear, with a classic neat look. It has the Italian post-1968 mark for sterling. Weight: 15.6 grams

This mixed-metal sash buckle’s design is composed of swirling flowers, leaves, and a bud. The silver plate shows some wear - yellow metal shows through at some of the high points. We believe the gold to be about 9kt, and it’s some type of plating. The buckle measures 3 x 2-1/2" and weighs in 47.5 grams. Unmarked...

Large and important 14K modernist design butterfly ring by famed jeweler Alfred Karram, NYC, c.1970's. It is signed "KARRAM 14K" and is size 5 - 5 1/2, depending on which side you put the ring on. Can be sized by a good jeweler. Made of heavy gauge gold and weighs 1/2 troy oz. Quite large, the design measures 1 3/4"long, 7/8" wide, and is 5/8" high.
