Lovely necklace with black glass beads and groups of dark blue melon beads with pale blue ruffled beads, all wired in dark goldtone metal. Circa 1940, probably French. 58 inches wearable length. The large melon beads are 3/8 inch wide. Excellent condition. One of the small light blue flower form beads is missing a petal -- this is very hard to see and does not show when worn. Circa pre-1948, this coiled snake necklace is the early work of "CEL". I seldom come across pieces by this artisan, but the few I have had are all in the same folk art style of Matilde Poulat, as is this design. Like produced in Mexico City, this necklace is in superb vintage condition.

Composed of alternating spiral and coiled links, the closure is a turquoise jeweled snake head and tail which joins together. You can wear it with the snake at center front, or on the side...

These earrings have a crafts-like and substantial feel, composed of applied sterling flowers, leaves and vines on a sterling silver backing. The clip backs are very secure; the earring backs bear what looks like a partial C, possibly for Cini. They measure 1 inch by 3/4 inch. Weight: 8.1 grams total

A 14Kt yellow gold Art Deco bar pin, that is decorated by a Greek Key relief design and five 2.5 millimeter high luster pearls. The pearls were not tested, but look like they COULD BE oriental pearls. In either case these pearls are high quality, high luster pearls. The width of the pin is 5 millimeters or 3/16” and the length is 50.5 millimeters or 2”.

A 1960s vintage unsigned Navajo sterling silver and turquoise bangle bracelet. This bracelet has a 2 x 1-1/8" front with a layer of cut silver sheeting on a black patinated background with a natural turquoise stone; it measures 2-1/4 x 1-3/4" across the interior (can be adjusted to suit), it weighs 19.2 grams, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A Victorian shell cameo depicting Aurora/Eos, goddess of the dawn set in a 14K gold frame decorated in the Etruscan taste withe beads and rosettes. Vintage unsigned unmarked yet tested sterling silver Mission style bail holding an odd faceted light as a feather amber pendant on newer 21" sterling chain.
The amber piece is Just under 2 1/2" X 1 1/8 @ widest while the large bench made bail adds another 3/8". A wonderful Art & Crafts sterling silver bracelet by the Kalo Workshop of Chicago. The bracelet is formed of six plaques, each centering an oval buff-cut citrine. The plaques are somewhat diamond-shaped, with beadwork at either end, and are joined by double oval links. The citrines have very dark amber coloring, with superb evenness and clarity. The smooth domed tops reflect the faceted cutting on the bottoms of the stones to very nice effect...
