This pin / brooch displays Spratling's brilliant work and his original fish design. It is rare to find this design signed by Spatling. It measures just over 1" x just over 1". The back is marked with Spratling's maker's mark and 925. It is in excellent condition, c. 1950's.

Circa mid-century, this Antonio Pineda cuff is a book-piece design shown in "Silver Seduction: The Art of Mexican Modernist Antonio Pineda". Pure eye candy, this concave cuff features nine conical amethysts which appear to be floating on a center pivoting arm. The amethysts are wonderful old Mexican stones with natural inclusions and quartz marbling. This will fit a smaller wrist. Mine is 6" and it fits me comfortably with room to spare. It is not adjustable in size...

A pair of Victorian French jet 9k gold and pearl earrings with silver screwback mounts. These 3/4 x 7/16" earrings are in the shape of a shield and the French jet (black glass) is beveled on the edges. They have 10k yellow gold star shaped inserts with central seed pearls; they have been rebacked with screwbacks in sterling silver (stamped STERLING) at a later date (but not recently)...

This American flag pin with Pole and Halyard is made of gold tone base metal with prong set rhinestones. It is in excellent condition. 1 7/8" tall by 1" wide.

A lovely maiden surrounded by a bower of daisies is featured in this Art Nouveau 10K gold pendant/watch pin. In Victorian flower language, the daisy represented "innocence." The design is nicely detailed. Tested and guaranteed 10K.

Vintage sterling silver and copper pin or brooch designed and signed (1940's) by American and Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling(1900-67). Pin measures 3 3/8" across. Fully hallmarked with Spratling's 1940 marks. Beautiful condition with an excellent patina. No dents or dings. Pin and lock work perfectly. Matching earrings also available. Pictured in MEXICAN SILVER by Penny Morrill and Carole Berk on p.57.

This pin has heft and presence, with a compelling design by Uni David-Andersen for the David-Andersen workshop. It resembles lattice work in its construction, but the irregular lengths of the ribs give it a primitive feel. The pin has a secure roll-over clasp and measures 2 inches long by 5/8 inches wide. Aluminum thunderbird bolo made in Germany, c.1970's. Bolo has a leather thong with aluminum tips and is in excellent condition. It measures 2 1/2" long by 2 1/4" wide. Great looking southwestern theme.

A very nice pair of Victorian double-faced 14K yellow gold cufflinks, the oval faces set with trios of diamonds, rubies and sapphires. The diamonds are old mine cut, while the sapphires and rubies are cabochons. The colored stones are of very good color and show now indications of heat treatment. An extremely desirable pair of of Edwardian 14K yellow gold double-sided cufflinks set with reverse-carved Essex crystals depicting American birds, retailed by Abercrombie & Fitch. The faces have beautifully rendered depictions of a ruffed grouse, a sandpiper, a standing mallard duck, and a mallard duck in flight. Each of the birds is brilliantly colored and set against a mother-of-pearl background...

Extremely fine Victorian memorial ring in 18K yellow gold, the shoulders with glossy black taille d’epargne enamel and engraved foliate decoration. A shield-shaped black and white sardonyx cartouche crowns the ring and covers a hair compartment visible through the beveled rock crystal cover on the inside of the ring. The inside of the shank is engraved “Thomas Bland 1857 Obt 23 March 68 years” and the compartment holds a woven plaque of his gray hair...

This Scottish sterling dove gray Montrose agate brooch is 1 7/8" x 1 3/8". It is bright cut engraving. Circa 1880.

A stunning enameled 14K yellow gold pendant/brooch and matching earrings by Krementz. The flowers and leaves are expertly worked in the iridescent translucent enamel characteristic of the best pieces from Newark. The violets are centered with small pearls. The pendant/brooch is stamped with Krementz' 14K mark.

A lovely 18K yellow gold bracelet designed as floral plaques separated by bezel set blue sapphire cabochons. Each elegantly pierced gold plaque depicts a rose encircled by scrolls and flanked by additional flowers. The backs of the plaques are engraved in a matching motif. The high-domed cabochons have fine deep blue coloring and show no indications of heat treatment. The clasp is stamped with French 18K marks.

This splendid Victorian brooch is an example of the Egyptian Revival style. It is silver gilt with a polychrome enamel winged pharaoh. The old style of the tube hinge and C clasp date it as prior to 1900. tube hing. It is marked 800 (for silver content) and has an indecipherable maker's mark. The pin is 1 1/4 " X 5/8". There is a small crack in the enamel of one feather. It is 19th century in age.
