Our C1790 ring is an 18th century glass intaglio of an ancient signed gem depicting the head of a laughing satyr, or faun (a young satyr). Such carvings were called Tassies (explained further down). "Gems" in this case refers not to precious stones, but to ancient classical Greek carvings, highly valued miniature works of art.
Our glass intaglio is signed in Greek for Ammonioy, meaning "by Ammonios"...
A heavy 18K yellow gold Venetian Etruscan fob charm in a crown form, set with five oval brilliant cut amethysts and four pearls. The amethysts have nice intense coloring and good clarity. The gold surfaces are ornately decorated with ropetwists and rosettes. Marked 18K.

A beautiful vintage Navajo sterling bracelet with a diagonal line of precise stamping in the style of Navajo Joe H. Quintana. It is possibly by him but it is unmarked. Measuring 6" around in the inside with an additional 1 1/4" opening, it is 1 3/4" wide and weighs a solid 67 grams. Fine original condition. Scrupulous execution.
This sturdy, nicely made sterling silver bracelet is composed of incised openwork sections securely linked by small rods. The tongue and groove clasp, with push-button release, is in good working order; the safety chain appears to be original. The marks are well struck, and possibly indicate the work of the Taxco maker Beto. The bracelet measures about 7 1/2 inches long (excluding clasp) by 3/4 inch wide. Weight: 50.9 grams

An exceptional pair of classic high fashion 18Kt yellow gold Ionic column earrings from the 1960-s. The earrings measure 29 millimeter high and 23 millimeter wide, and have a combination of posts and omega backs. The marks on the finely made pierced-design backs are stamped 750 for 18Kt, and have a hallmark of the jewelry maker.
A lovely 18K gold locket, the front cover bezel-set with rhodolite garnets. The garnets have very fine color with bright shots of violet. The gold surface is stippled. The back cover is ornately engraved in a checkerboard pattern. The interior has a hinged glass cover. The locket is deep enough that it was likely intended to contain both a portrait and a keepsake of some sort. The bail is stamped with French 18K gold marks.

Nettie Rosenstein hinged bangle bracelet and dangle earrings, handsomely crafted as always. The set, 1940-50's, is beautifully designed, and the bracelet is heavy and chunky. As with everything we present, it is in excellent condition. The opening at the rim of the oval bracelet is 2 1/2" by 2 1/4" and the bracelet is 1 3/4" wide. A 14k rounded wedding band or ring circa 1960s. This size 7-1/2 or 7.5 yellow gold band has a curved surace. It is a nice substantial weight of approximately 5.2 gr., so it will last many years. It has a maker''s mark and 14 K inside the band. One side of the ring is flatter in design, possibly done to sit closer to another ring. It is in excellent vintage condition with no breaks, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...
