A 3/4" late Victorian gold filled windowed pendant and 18" fine link gold filled chain with springring catch c1900, containing authentic gold nuggets. The two windows on the locket show the gold from both sides; the nuggets weigh 0.8 grams. The locket has a screw closure and a later bale; this necklace is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the bale replacement...

A modernist ring by Lapponia in sterling silver, 'Erosion'. Has a light purple cast similar to the Flame finish seen on bronze pieces.

Marked with the Lapponia Hallmark, 925, Finnish silver standard mark, and X7, the date code for 1975.

The front of the ring measures 1 1/4" long. Ring is a size 6.5-7. May be able to adjust slightly due to the open nature of the design.

Fine condition. Heavy and bold. Wonderful example of Scandinavian design.

Circa mid-century, here is a very seldom seen book-piece design from Antonio Pineda.

Shown on page 148 of Gobi Stromberg's "Silver Seduction : The Art of Mexican Modernist Antonio Pineda", this is a magnificent bracelet with a stunning modernist design. Composed of eight thick sleek rectangular links which have bezel-set carnelian gemstones, each with a silver disc rising from the center. It's a very unusual piece, and a real attention grabber...

This sterling silver pin is formed as a Mexican peasant lugging a large basket of fruit on his back. It is deeply molded and enhanced with oxidation and of hollow construction. The sturdy clasp features a machine-age look, and the pin stem has a lever that causes it to spring open when released. The pin dates from 1950 through the 1930s and is marked Silver/Mexico on the reverse. It measures 2 inches long by 1 1/4 inches at its widest part. Weight: 12.6 grams

A green and brown marbled agate square is decorated with a sterling modified pinwheel design. The handmade bale is sturdy. The entire plaque is mounted on a sterling backing marked 925. There is also a maker’s mark that looks like MAD. The pendant is suspended in the photos from a 26-inch-long Mexican sterling chain ($35 in addition to the pendant, J1341). The pendant measures 1 5/8 inches square.

This beautiful, sterling silver bracelet measures 7 1/2" long. Each link features a dark, multifaceted stone with iridescent colors. The stones are bezel set. The V-spring box clasp is marked on each piece: the V-spring has the Mexican Assay mark with a 2 inside the spread eagle. The box part is marked with words in a circle; but all I can make out is PLATA 925.

One of my favorite insect designs in the world of vintage Mexican silver jewelry, this “machine age” dragonfly is known as a Los Castillo creation yet here it is signed by a “less celebrated” Taxco maestro. What first attracted me to this creature is its “industrial”, perforated wings that make the dragonfly look more delicate but awe-inspiring at the same time. A 10k yellow gold blue topaz and diamonds cluster style ring from the 1970s-80s. This size 5 ring features two blue topaz stones with two rows of five flashy diamonds. The setting measures 1/2 x 3/8", this ring weighs 1.6 grams and it is stamped EMBIR 10K. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs...

An Edwardian 10K Birks carved green jadite ring from the 1910 to 1915 era. This Arts and Crafts size 5-1/4 or 5.75 ring measures 3/4" x 5/8" across the claw-set genuine jade gem stone, which appears to be carved with a pomegranate or peach and a pear or fig. It has ornate engraved shoulders which owe a bit more to the Edwardian era. It is stamped BIRKS 10K with the Birks crown mark and a sideways pear stamp. The gold tends towards a light rose gold colour...

The early hallmarks on this brooch date 1940-1945. This pin was designed by Valentin Vidaurreta. Shown with onyx stones on p.79, II-12 in "Silver Masters of Mexico", also noted in this book is that Vidaurreta produced work both in his own workshop and at the Taller Borda, and that the pieces sold at Taller Borda were marked with the HA mark until the 1950's. This is an outstanding piece, large, exquisitely hand-crafted, and collector quality...

Modernist globular silver earrings by renown Finnish designer Liisa Vitali whose characteristics are pierced, cut-out shapes. The Leppäkerttu / Ladybug collection appeared around 1970. Together with the Pitsi / Lace series it belongs to Vitali’s most popular designs. Swedish import marks (three crowns in an oval and S) and 925. Diameter of the little globes: "3/5/ 1.5 cm. Condition: fine.

This mid-century kinetic design necklace is the work of Erika Hult de Corral.

It's a stunning signature piece which features an extra-long length of 28 1/2". Erika Hult de Corral studied at the Parsons School of Design in Paris, later on working with both Sigi Pineda and Enrique Ledesma before opening her own shop.

Moon crater balls and long tubes combine on the sides, with a centerpiece which has free swinging pendulums of varying lengths...

These earrings feature simple, classic geometrical designs enhanced with oxidation that is reminiscent of Southwest design. The earrings are not marked, but test for sterling silver; the screw backs are marked sterling. The surface exhibits a warm, aged patina. Each earring drops about 2 inches and each hoop measures 1 3/8 inches in diameter. Weight: 10.5 grams total

An elegant Belle Epoque 18K yellow gold negligee pendant necklace, the old mine cut diamond drops formed as pansies. Pendant necklaces of this type, called negligees (from the French word for "careless"), were so called because of their assymetry. The subtle pansy design is achieved by combining three larger diamonds at the top of each cluster to represent larger petals, and two smaller petals at the bottoms...

An unusual sterling silver pendant in an industrial design with copper inlay suspended from a paperclip style chain. Reminds us of a stylized torso similar to the work of Thomas Mann.

Central pendant measures 2 3/8" across and 2 1/8" high. Three dimensional. The four small cubes have layers of copper inlay for an interesting effect. Very well made. Unsigned.

The chain measures 23" long and has a secure hook clasp. The piece has some tarnish and minor surface scratches...
