A Birks sterling marcasites brooch and earrings set from around 1930. This fine, vintage set was sold by Birks, Canada's leading retailer of fine goods. This great 3-piece set (parure, suite) has a modernist design, with leaves swirling into buds. The brooch is also a pendant. It measures 2 1/4" x 1 1/2". It is marked TAXCO HECHO EN MEXICO STERLING 925 Assay Mark 3 and V.A. (for the silversmith). The earrings are screwbacks and measure 1/2" x 1 1/4", marked TAXCO V.A., as well. This 3-piece set is in great condition and has a good heft.
This large, sterling silver, pendant is most unusual, c. 1960’s. It measures 2 5/8" x 1 7/8". It is a stylized scale, made of heavy gauge silver. Going along with the abstract motif, the large amber “drop” is more like an amorphous bulb of oranges, yellows, and reds, changing with the lighting. The "relics" housed by the amber are also visible. It is marked 925. It weighs just over 1 ounce / approximately 29 grams and is in excellent condition.
This exquisite pendant measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" (and is slightly convex). It features the male peacock with its plumage of feathers in alternating green and black enamel. It is marked 148 AR 800 (AR for Italian Province, Arezzo, 800 for silver content). It is in excellent condition. It is circa 1950s.
This clamper bracelet is circa 1940's. It measures 4" from top to bottom. The hinge is 3/4" long. I have not seen many Mexican, of this type in brass. The design is wonderful. The colorful abalone looks lovely in brass. The inside is marked HECHO EN MEXICO. It is in great condition.

This large brooch / pin measures 3" x 2 7/8" at highest and widest. It features a foliate branch motif with a flowerhead and applied bud in the middle. It is from the Late Arts and Crafts Era: circa 1940's. It weighs approximately 24 grams.
Tortalani's beautiful design and craftsmanship shows clearly in this elegant brooch. As with all Tortalani pieces, the base is polished pewter, and, in this case, the brooch is finished in an antiqued gold plate. Tortalani name plate is on the back. Brooch is 4" by 2 3/4".
These cuff links are by the famous silversmith Perli. They are chain link cufflinks. The circular part has a diameter of 3/4".
The bottom, rectangular portion (connected by the chain links) has rounded edges and measures 3/4" x 3/8", with a fine, hammered finish.
The backs are clearly marked Perli 835. Chain link cuff liks are the original form of cufflinks: made of two decorative parts, connected by a chain. They are not commonly seen in everyday wear anymore...
A fine and attractive genuine White Shrine of Jerusalem Art Deco 18-1/4" sterling silver necklace with a rock crystal drop. The 1-1/2 x 3/4" drop (including upper portion) features a carved rayed genuine rock crystal claw-set into a Deco style housing. It has an applied WSOJ cross with white enamel and a shepherd's hook and it is stamped STERLING on the back. This fine sterling ring is a size 5. It has an oval shape and consists of 14 sawtooth, bezel-set, turquoise cabs, surrounding the central, oval, turquoise stone: sawtooth, bezel-set, as well. The artist's work is fantastic. The band has nice, Navajo stamp work. It is marked STERLING with the maker's mark of a conjoined JP. It has good heft and is in excellent condition.
