It is hallmarked with the stylized k (for the year 1909), the anchor (for Birmingham) and The Lion Passant (for 925 sterling silver). It also has the hallmark S & Co., representing the silversmith. A hand made low grade silver "flower" pendant with 15 faceted natural antique-cut rubies, a single faceted natural emerald, three oval turquoise stones and opaline glass. A 1930s pair of French gilt sterling rhinestone earrings. These 1-3/8 x 3/4" gilt .950 sterling clip-on earrings have white flashy rhinestones and they are stamped with (very tiny) French silver marks. The shape of this antique pendant is a Dharmachakra or "wheel with 8 spokes", which is one of the eight auspicious symbols of Tibetan Buddhism. Eight oval shaped turquoise surround a ninth turquoise stone, with each stone set in a silver bezel on a silver backing. When mined, turquoise is a soft stone, and all old stones were set into a bezel for protection. Later stablization processes were used so that bezels were no longer required...

Bold pendant earrings with a deeply oxidized design of stylized animal faces. The panels are impressed with the design, and there is a bit of wear to the oxidation, but the effect is still striking. The panels also have a graceful curve, which also enhances the design. There is no maker’s mark; one screw back shows a mark of 980 Taxco, the other, sterling/Taxco/Mexico. The entire length of the earring, including the rounded top, is a little over 2 inches. Weight: 13.5 grams

A cast rectangular top decorated with what look like applied and incised stylized scrollwork; the surface is textured and is unevenly oxidized. The sides exhibit clamp-like elements and the band shoulders bear engraved geometric designs. The band is flattened, and on the inside is marked with the German crown and moon, 800, and what looks like a worn maker’s mark. The style looks like transitional art deco/art modern; the ring is dated conservatively. It is sized at a 7. Weight: 5.9 grams
